I hope you are paying attention the terrible fates befalling muslim children in Hyderabad where their parents are pimping them to Arabs in temporary marriages.
Yes, that is pitiful behavior. It's a problem when the girls are <18 and it's a crime punishable by law. Fair enough.
If you are so intent about compaing oppression of women, why not a word about honor killings happening in Islamic societies so much more frequently than sati?
Quran doesn't permit honor killings - it's the ignorant PoS followers that do. Honor killings have been made up by modern Muslims. It's sh!tty behavior and the perpetrators are punishable by death under Islamic law.
Yep, Kar Sevaks are terrorists because they carry a trishul, right! :disgust: I bet they also plan to go about on a world conquest with them.
Huge congregations of armed Kar Sevaks, chanting against the cancer of Christian Missionaries/Madrasas, a call for Ram Rajya (no secularism) and the elimination of minorities from this nation is civil behavior, sure. These guys are still hung up on Muslim Invaders from the medieval ages and go on and on about avenging something that happened hundreds of years ago. Yup, nothing wrong with that.
And what's wrong with the word 'Islamic terrorist' There people are fighting for an Islamic state based on Sharia laws. What would that make them? My original thread was a condolence one for all the victims involved and you began the tripe about freedom fighting and independence.
Don't tell me I thread-jacked this. All I said was,
"This was most likely done by Kashmiri Muslim militants but that doesn't make it 'Islamic Terrorism'. Kashmiri militants fighting for an Independent State != Islamic Terrorism."
By the way, those marriages to dogs and whatever were symbolic acts of ignorant poor people in rural areas. Do you seriously think that they gonna make that child have sex with the animal unlike the most perfect of men, Muhammed who married Aisha when she was six and spent the night with her when she was 9.
Puberty was considered appropriate age for marriage back then. That is pretty much all I can say about that. It's not allowed these days but there is no real age specified in the Quran. From the accounts I've read, a person is allowed to marry as long as they understand and are capable of handling the responsibilities that go with it. As a 21st century person, I myself find it weird but maybe it's just our conditioning. Until a few years back, a 16 was the minimum age for an Indian girl to get married. Try creating a thread in AT about, "I'm 22, she's 16 - should I date/marry her?" and see the pedo-replies fly. 50 years ago, 13-14-year-olds would be married to men twice their age and it was considered normal - whether Muslim or Hindu. What works in Country A in Time A doesn't work in Country B in Time B.
