Well to be fair this is the UK. You could fly the Star and Bars there and almost no one would know what it meant. Here in the US any ISIS flag would be... not well received. Anywhere. Well, maybe Seattle would tolerate it.

We fought a war to establish freedom of expression. Speech here is protected by the constitution. The dimwit church can file a lawsuit if their rights are infringed by local ordinance. Any act of violence in this country to protect ones rights of speech would bring on police action. You can't use violence because you 'think' you are being threatened. You have to win a self defense claim in court. If the courts decide you over-reacted, you go to jail.

You simply think what you feel is more important than the law and in that way you can justify anything. You have no faith in what it means to be a real American.

The biggest problem my wife had in teaching English to all the Mexican children in San Diego was that they did not have a true command of the Spanish language. And yes, I realize there are different dialects, even in Spain.
