I've always wanted to be a little taller. I seem to be attracted to tall girls and they like to wear heels. 5'10" +3" heels makes them taller than me and it's just weird.

Seems like most guys won't date tall gals, because it's "weird".
I've made a few posts about having troubles finding pants, not so much in length but ones that have an appropriate thigh/waist ratio for me. Nothing quite like have 26" thighs and a 34" waist.

My problem is length. I can't find any longer than 35" inseam, but I really need 36" or 37".

So I went out and looked for famous people as tall as me and all I found was Bud Bundy, Gandhi and some dude named Voltaire, the rest were all women. Also it said Kim Kardashian was 5'3" I was like WTF so I googled her height and it said she is 5'2". I though she was much taller.

It doesn't bother me too much it would take a little getting used to, but for the girls I've dated they don't like being taller than me. And I don't run into many women taller than me without heels on but it does happen from time to time.

Short legs? I've got short legs for 6' and I'm between 30-32" inseam depending on the brand.
Not really, pretty even overall...at least no one has ever commented that they looked short...of course they usually have to look up to see me anyway:p

Maybe it's my size 15 feet that's distracting:hmm:

I think that overall, girls are more fixated on height than guys.

Of course, I'm 6'2", so it generally isn't a problem for me. Most of the women I've met who were taller than I am were also a fair bit...wider.

Clint Eastwood
John Travolta
Jim Carrey
Saddam Hussein
Donald Trump
...and it goes on.

That's kind of a cool site...pointless info but cool anyway...

Matching me are:

Vince Vaughn
Dolph Lundgren (I thought he was way bigger)
Rock Hudson (never knew he was that tall)
Hulk Hogan
John Cleese
Howard Stern
Peyton Manning
Mark Philippoussis (no clue who he is but name is funny as hell)

For the same reason girls want taller guys guys want shorter girls. Usually both the girl and the guy would prefer the guy is taller. That's why I made the comment I made. At 6'1" you are 9" taller than the average female. A man who is 5'3" is 7" shorter than the average male. So theoretically you're at an even bigger dating disadvantage than JeffG.

Bad formula, there's more guys 6'1"+ than there are girls >5'3"...and girls I think are more hung up on height than guys are, many (might be so bold as to say most) like having a "protector", someone smaller than yourself doesn't usually fit that image regardless of ability

I would say guys are more hung up on it than gals are.

You say that because you're a tall girl, so you've already had to cope with the idea that most guys are going to be shorter than you. You're OK with it. However, the guys that you date may not have dealt with too many tall women before, so they haven't.

Talk to some short guys and ask them who cares more about height differences, and they'll certainly say it's the girls who have a problem with it.
