Ugh, this is so frustrating. 6/9 of my guys are top 10 at their position and the other 3 are top 20. Yet I'm 5-5.

Ranks don't exactly matter. Lamar miller almost always a top 20, some weeks top10. He still a bum and hasn't helped me win.

How many of your guys are top 3? IE McCoy, Charles AP or Megatron, dez, marshall, green. Or jimmy graham.

I had Charles and dez and I'm 7-3.
Only cause Jordan reed has turned into a top 3 TE. And I have KC which is another top3 def.

You can't go by total scoring alone. In 4th place out of 12 and only 5/12 of my guys are ranked in 11-20 at their position, the only top 10 thing I have is the Carolina DST.

I have the Panthers D too. Scared to play them this week vs NE on Monday Night. My other options are Tenn (on my roster), NYJ, Buf, and NYG. I'd be dropping Tenn for one of those. Cant decide.

Never be scared to play Carolina's, except top 5 offenses. The Pats are not one, and Brady has had a lot of trouble hitting receivers under duress from the pass rush this year. The Pats have the 10th best Pass Blocking vs Carolina's 4th best Pass Coverage. Something will have to give (will NE try to exploit Carolina's average run D?). Panthers are middle of the pack in pass rush FWIW, but 2nd in Total FF points behind KC... yes, even 7 points better than Seattle. This week and 2X NO will be their biggest test, I ain't scurred.

I so want to play KC defense. The only thing I could and did pickup is jets.

I'll go KC. Only problem is they'll likely be gassed early in the 3rd quarter. Unless they pound ma boy Jamal Charles.

Colts beat em. So can KC. Keep manning off the field.

I'm leaving K.C. on the bench to see how my points play out before the game. I'm playing my gf this week, and I've been on an 8 game winning streak, so if she upsets me and takes the win, then I'll never hear the end of it.

If I'm beating her (in points of course, not for not getting me a sammich) before K.C/Denver kickoff, then I'm leaving K.C. D on the bench. All of her players are done by 4:25 game.

Jason Campbell
Matt Ryan
Kaepernick

I Need to pick one. Ryan has the easiest matchup, Campbell has been playing the best and Kaepernick could easily get into a shoot out with a high scoring NO offense (or at least a lot of garbage time points).

Ryan has no real weapons to speak of (besides a hobbled roddy white), Campbell suffers a similar problem (though it hasn't seemed to stop him) and Kaepernick is the definition of boom/bust this year mostly on the bust side of the equation.

Any thoughts?

That entire game is frustrating to predict IMHO. I'm debating whether to start Shane Vereen at the Flex in one league. Unfortunately I don't have many other obviously better options with McFadden likely being out. I could Flex Percy Harvin if he gets activated, but he's not any more likely to outperform than Vereen, and the other options are emergency only.

ok i think we have settled on vinitari + reed for gost + stills.
dont really care about vinitari as I have Hauschka also, but he should fill in week 12 Hauschka BYE

and all for naught. league's trade deadline passed and we put it up to a vote to move the deadline another week. motion didn't pass. funny thing is that I was in the negotiations with the league commish...

I'd avoid Kaep. SF hasn't played well against good teams this year (points scored against CAR, IND, and SEA were 9, 7, and 3 respectively). NO just brutalized DAL last week, and I could see them laying another drubbing on the Niners this week. To me, Ryan seems like the safest choice.

cowboys may have the worst defense in the league right now, injuries have destroyed them

Damn. That sucks. Yahoo? ESPN trade deadline isn't until the 20th.

Ryan put up 27 Fantasy points vs Tampa earlier in the year on the road without Roddy/Julio/SJax where Douglas blew up for 100+ yards and a TD. Looking at the recap grades, Ryan picked on Jonathan Banks (hasn't had a positive game in weeks) and Leonard Johnson badly while Revis did great (+2.0). With Roddy playing all snaps and running routes well + SJax back and at home, I expect Ryan to do ok. However, it doesn't help that the Bucs are playing well at the moment. I'll probably go with Ryan this week over McCown for my lineup.

I am not very high on the Carolina DST but in the league I have them I am sorta forced to start them cause I have a short 4 spot bench and am carrying Aaron Rodgers on it. I'll also need to make a tough decision in that league if Nick Foles has another good game cause he has a week 12 bye and I won't want to drop him, I might be forced to drop a WR/TE (Terrance Williams, Roddy White, Tony G) to pick up a bye week QB if Rodgers is out.

I agree. This is sort of a last stand game for Matt Ryan as a starting QB for fantasy. I'm starting Foles over him in a league though.

Total scoring should of course be indicative of the quality of your team, especially this far into the season. It means my guys are regularly pointing up good points. In terms of point ranking, I'm 3rd in Points For and 11th in Points Against. That means I'm having the unfortunate luck of my opponents having a player or two blow up for more points than they usually get.

Thankfully, I'm tied with 4 other teams in the division and one is at 6-4 and I play him the final week. I should be able to win out but even 2-1 may be enough to get into the playoffs.

As for advice, who should I play:

Gordon @ CIN
A Brown vs. DET

A good way to do playoffs is top 2 or 4 teams advance due to record and the rest are by total points for. You can even do it as total points for as the sole factor.

Douglas may be hurt now and if Tony G doesn't practice again tomorrow, then those are two huge losses. I'm thinking of benching him for McCown but will continue to monitor the situation. With Roddy getting shut down, who else is available, Drew Davis? It's not a good bet if you need fantasy points.

Sure, why not? I like Keenum against Oakland with no Foster better than I do Luck against TEN with no Reggie Wayne.
