12 Team League:

QB: Matt Ryan, Andy Dalton, or Jay Cutler. I'm weak here. Julio gone, Gonzalez likely out. Dalton inconsistent. Cutler injured. Fortunately this league is only 4 points per TD for QBs.
RB: Adrian Peterson and Matt Forte. Vereen is my primary backup.
WR: Demaryius Thomas and DeSean Jackson. Alshon Jeffery is my primary backup.
TE: Gates. Primary backup is the waiver wire.
K/DEF: Gostkowski/Denver currently.

I think I've improved about as well as I can with the assets I have. QB could prove to be my downfall.

QB: McCown or Keenum (if available)

I do not trust Ryan (I dropped him in two leagues) or Dalton. You could hang on to Cutler.

I would have traded Moreno for a starting QB instead. I would start Jeffery.

I hear ya. Unfortunately my attempts at getting a qb have been met with some resistance. Nothing good on waiver wire. No one wants to trade me a qb to complete my team basically.

Yeah your team is pretty beast but without a QB you're probably done, I'm having the same issue (drafted Ryan). Next year I may draft Brees and Manning within my top 3 picks, depending on QB depth. You don't have to worry about injuries or 50/50 splits like RB, and the league is going toward more passing anyway (+new pansy rules that protect receivers/QBs more).

Has anyone done draftkings and the like? Where you pay a fee to select who you think the best team for the week will be and can win money? Just wondering about peoples experiences with it..

A buddy of mine does fanduel.com and likes it. I've been meaning to get into it, there are ads for a match of your deposit up to 200 bucks.

My understanding is it's a different kind of play and you have to pick some sleepers to really do well.

Ah. I keep getting those offers for matching so I may have to look into it some more.

Those were some good moves, but yeah, your QB situation is dire. Is J. Campbell available?

I think the idea with those sites is you have a salary cap, so in order to afford studs at some positions, you have to go with low cost sleepers at others. Analyzing matchups is very important.

Nope. I think I may be in good shape provided Cutler is back in action by Week 14. I've locked up a playoff spot and our playoffs start in Week 14. Cutler gets Dallas, Cleveland, and Philly in weeks 14-16. Dallas and Philly are awful against the pass. Cleveland is top 10 but Ryan has Washington in Atlanta week 15 so maybe I'd plug him in.

Not a fan of having a QB problem. Still going to make a run at trading for one but not getting my hopes up.

I think I'd go with Cooper this week. The Eagles should be able to throw the ball all over the Redskins. Granted, the weather doesn't look great.

I'm sitting Keenan and playing Fitzgerald. Thoughts?

Other starters are josh Gordon and Ty Hilton. I was tempted to bench Hilton but couldn't do it. In paying for that.

Basically pick two (my WR slots are really W/T flex)

read the fine print. I signed up for fanduel earlier in this season, and they release the matching funds VERY slowly. something like 5% of the amount you bet gets released to you. could be even less, I'm not sure

You knew it was coming...

Dalton or Ryan. Not happy with either but Dalton is potentially playing in a storm but definitely in heavy wind and Ryan is playing against TB. Ryan should do well but hard to trust him now even if White, Douglas, and Gonzalez are active.
