I need AD to break a long one and have a decent game to have a shot at winning this week after what Decker did last night. If anyone can do it, he can.

Well Adrian Peterson rushing against the terrible Giants defense is as good a shot as you could hope for.

I picked up Peyton Hillis in a league. It's more as a joke than anything, I had an extra bench spot and he was available this morning. I'll probably drop him after this game unless he somehow turns the time machine back to 2010.

All signs point to Hillis toting the rock. He has a fumble and injury risk so by the 2nd quarter it could just as easily be Cox though. Who knows, maybe Tiki Barber will be in the stands and they'll have him suit up the second half and have 200 yards from scrimage and 2TD's for the day.

Haha. Pretty sure I'm screwed with any direction I take. One of the few times I don't need AP to blow up due to set-victories for other leagues.

It's a total dice roll. I would lean towards Hillis as the Giants ran the ball well with Jacobs and Hillis is no doubt a power back similar to Jacobs. However its not like Cox is some small scat-back, he is 6' and 220 lbs and could very well outplay Hillis.

If Freeman plays ok tonight then go with him.

If Freeman blows then I would roll with Tannehill, he has an interesting matchup against the injured Patriots defense. Carson Palmer has a decent matchup against Atlanta but he has been pretty bad for most of the season, I would steer clear.

I am now placed in the unenviable position of wanting to trade away Ray Rice and not knowing how I can possibly get any value in return. I've got Reggie Bush locked in as my RB1 and Sproles ready to sit in as RB2, but I still have to do something for Bush's bye in week 9.

I do have a lot of WR depth; maybe I can package Rice with Garcon/K. Allen/D. Moore for a good RB.

I'm just so bad at trades. I take so long mulling over possible scenarios, and I am always worried that I'll trade away a player just before he breaks out (or trade FOR a player just before he gets injured). Does anyone here have some general advice regarding trades? How do you convince people to do them and how do you convince yourself that you can give up a player?

Anyone else get hit hard by the injury bug?

Starting offense:
Cutler - Out for a month, probably more.
Julio Jones - Out for the year.
Wes Welker - Healthy.
DeMarco Murray - Out for a few weeks.
Jared Cook - Bust, except for game 1.
Doug Martin - Looks like he's done for the year.

I'm second in a 16 team league, but I think I'm done for. I should try to trade Welker for draft pick next year, as he's the only value player I have at this point.

it really depends on how serious your league is. is it one of the atot leagues? do you know the people in real life? try to find a team that you think you think could benefit from rice or rice + a WR.

If its a league that is pretty active you can post a note saying you are interested in trading and that should get some responses. If you want an upgrade at RB you would either need to approach someone that is stacked at RB or a team in desperation for a win. You probably won't get much from an 0-7 or 1-6 team as they might have given up but 2-5 and 3-4 teams are still in the mix and are more willing to wheel and deal.

It's going to be hard to get an upgrade for Ray Rice at this point. Good RBs continue to be at a premium and Ray Rice's value continues to drop. I have Rice in one league and have been trying to package him with a good WR with no success.

Need some quick weigh ins here:

Just spoke to Vincent Jacksons owner. I asked her if she'd take a trade for DeMarco Murray and Keenan Allen for V. Jackson, and she said yes.

My other RB's are: Moreno, Bush and Gore

My other WR's are: Calvin, D Jax, Harvin

I'm just losing faith in Murray, and Jackson would be a solid add since I'm nursing Harvin. Allen has upside I know, but I need less risk at WR right now with Calvins knee a bump away, and D Jax, while I love him, is feast or famine.

Non PPR.

Good trade?

As a member of the Vincent Jackson fan club I say do it. You are stacked at running back and don't really need Murray right now. As an added bonus Tampa has already had their bye week. He might have a couple of down games coming up but I really think he will end up a top receiver ROS.

Kinda what I'm thinking. Although at this point, the way she said, "Sure, yeah, what the hell." I kinda feel like I offered too much. She doesn't have any RB's I want though (Spiller, Lawfirm, Ridley, Wilson). I think she just doesn't care at this point. Her record is 2-5. On the one hand I kinda feel like a vulture, picking the bones of her team, but on the other hand, I'm thinking I'm offering her a good return on Jackson. She just lost Wayne, and I didn't think Murray for V Jax was fair, so I added Keenan Allen to even the deal up.

You should know better than that to have some bama as your QB... I thought I knew you better than that dickhead

Cutler has put up more fantasy points than your boyfriend Bob III, and is in PFF's top 3 QB rating (> NFL's stupid rating). Cutler was having an elite fantasy season.

NYG were in the top 3 in PFF Run defense grading, I know it sounds crazy but apparently they've been stopping the run well. Looking at their past games:
-5 vs Chicago, +9.5 vs Philly(#1 Run Blocking), +5.9 vs KC, -2.7 vs Carolina (great Run Blocking), +4.9 vs Denver (good Run Blocking), +11.9 vs Dallas. It will be interesting to see how they do tonight.

Yeah, I could put him on the trading block and that would show up in the news feed to the owners who check it, but I don't think anyone would want him.

The good news is that, barring injuries, I should only have to start Rice once more, in week 9 (Reggie Bush's bye). I have Darren Sproles ready to go and while he hasn't been amazing this year, he still gets a lot of work and has done more with it than Rice.

I'm pretty set at WR so now I'm thinking I could trade one of my bench WRs (D. Moore or Allen) for a bench RB as insurance, maybe Brown or Vereen (one guy actually has both of them). Instead of trying to upgrade Rice I'll just set my sights a little lower. I have a feeling that all I could get in exchange would be an equally frustrating back like TRich or Spiller.

I would. Even though McGahee gets quite a bit of work he is just not doing much with it

Looks like I'll be keeping Mcgahee. I was gonna try and trade Finley since I don't need him anymore since Gronk back but ill just drop Finley instead. Doubt he comes back this year

Well, My Rivers over Peyton start didnt' pan out this week, though it was looking pretty close up until the last 10 or so minutes of the game.

Not that it mattered--I had officially lost before the first Sunday game :D (much like the Bears, my team has suffered from injuries this season. Our league is deep and talent is scarce this season, so the FA pool is basically the floor scrapings of a SPAM factory)

I haven't seen a worse game to watch...all I need is Peterson to get a total of 40 more yards...and what do I get...watching that pathetic bag Freeman go full retard most of the game.
