Who are the must be name this week on the ww.

Keleen Allen and Percy are not out there. No packer wr showed me anything. I'm going after Jordon reed this week. Maybe pick up stegis the kicker back up. But looking for that guy with possible big upside.

RB:
Randle on Dallas has 2-3 weeks of decent upside if you're looking for a flex RB, and I'm also high on Tolbert (only because I have a mancrush on Carolina's OL) for Flex. I don't usually try to chase points but D.Williams has been vultured again, dammit! Rivera is playing with my emotions.

WR:
Atlanta (Douglas, Cone, Drew), GB (Boykin - not ready yet), and Detroit (Durham) have very interesting replacement WR's in the making and I'm pretty high on one (*cough* Detroit). Of course Stafford already spilled the beans on that one last night. Additionally, Rueben Randle may still be available (55% owned) and their schedule is easy.

QB:
Foles, Foles, Foles. With Vick's injury putting a big question mark on his return, ride the Fole Train as long as you can if you have a shitty QB!

He is correct for yahoo.

You can only request player A once. A second WW claim discarding the same person will override the first one.

On NFL.com you can do it however you want.

That is incorrect for yahoo. You can put in as many waiver claims as you want for dropping the same player on your team. Right now I have: Waiver 1: Keenan Allen dropping Sean McGrath, Waiver 2: Nick Foles dropping Sean McGrath.

I have done this quite a few times. Do you mean Requesting the same player off of the waiver more than once cause yes it will override the first one

Put in my biggest waiver of the year on keenan Allen at 23/100 bucks. That will leave me with only 35 left. I'm 3-3 and need to be aggressive at WR. I don't have to have him but it would strengthen my team a good deal for the second half and playoffs.

Some dude gave 88 bucks for Percy harvin. Me thinks he mis typed the amount.

Yeah, I worded the second part wrong. It should have said:

A second WW claim asking for the same person will override the first one

maybe it was rudeguy thinking that it's a weekly budget

glad I got allen for $3 last week

It was between Allen and Terrance Williams last week. I choose...poorly.

My league is conservative on FAAB waivers. In years past I never used it much and folks would put in 1-5 dollar bids. Always had 70+ bucks left at the end of the year. Now with me going big people are starting to put in real bids. If I put in a bid, it is normally to make sure I get them. I got williams for 7.

My problem is I have no room on my bench to stash. I still cannot bring myself to drop my #2 pick of David Wilson, even though I know I should.

Yes, because I think if you have an empty slot you can submit more than 1 waiver. Whereas if you want to drop Player A and pick up B off waivers, you cannot queue up a second waiver for Player A (say, for Player C). Whereas with an open spot on the roster, you can Add Player B, if taken Add Player C, etc. The summary is when you don't have open slots on the roster, you have to choose a unique player on your bench for that unique waiver claim to replace.

Okay, I got ya. That's not the way it works in my league, but if that's the norm, then that makes sense. In our league I can submit multiple waiver adds for dropping a single player, then set an order. Say I want to drop player A for player B. If someone before me in waiver order gets him, then I can have have a secondary move set up. ESPN standard rules though, so no auction/bid stuff.

why would you put in two claims for the same player...

Willing to drop different people.

Foles dropping Vick
Foles dropping White
Allen dropping Vick
Allen dropping White

Say you are willing to drop both, your WW list will look like

Foles dropping White
Allen dropping White

You could miss out totally on Allen if nobody else had interest and you don't login to check at 3 AM. Say you login at 10 AM and someone took him at 8 AM.

For yahoo, it is easier to just drop your people and queue up your WW choices in order.

Waiver wire activity for this week:

Trying to pick up Cutler for Stafford's upcoming bye week - dropping Kaepernick
Dropping Justin Tucker for Mason Crosby (kicker past his bye week)

I want to pick up and stash Percy Harvin. Only drop candidates I have are Tate or Boldin. Not sure if it is worth it though.

Lets say you want to pick up Dallas Clark 1st and Nick Foles 2nd off the waiver wire

You have Sean McGrath and Bryce Brown. You want to make sure if any of those players are available you drop McGrath first and Brown Second. So ideally it would be setup as

W1: Clark for McGrath
W2: Clark for Brown
W3: Foles for McGrath
W4: Foles for Brown

You would be able to hang on to Brown if only one of those players are avaliable.

However Yahoo does not allow this. You can only have one waiver claim for each player. That forces you to put both Brown and McGrath up for grabs and you may end up keeping McGrath and dropping Brown.

Drop Boldin, unless he's one of your starters.

Yup, this is what I've found to happen in the past and why I just keep an open slot on my roster (i.e. drop someone early). Not sure why they don't allow us to let it cycle through like normal logic would.
My WW this week are: 1)Tolbert, 2)Dropping Cobb for Durham. Normally I'll only put in one but I'm last of 12 so what's one more. Since S.Jackson AND D.Wilson may not pan out for week 8 I need to pick up another RB. Dammit all.

U plan on starting either of the two. Other then my TE I rarely start people I grab from my wire. I put in for reed from the skins and a doubtful cowboy running back.

Hopefully reed pans out, I have garcon on the team as well.

Dropped Cobb for Marquise Goodwin in keeper league. Cobb not able to come back until week 15 at earliest. My bench was starting to look like a hospital.

Speculative add based on him having 12 pts on Sunday and basically being the fastest player (I think) in the league right now.

Not a bad pickup but Matt Flynn could possibly be throwing to him which is cause for concern. I'm assuming Woods wasn't available? I'd rather take Durham over Goodwin in that case. Or Randle. Or Boykin.

I probably won't start Durham since I have S.Smith and J.Simpson as my starters. Simpson should do well against the NYG since they stuff the run but give up a lot in the secondary, and it depends if Cassel is starting (or Freeman). If Freeman, I may sit Simpson and start V.Brown (vs Jax) or even give Durham the nod. Stafford has said he likes the kid after last week's game and with Megatron drawing defenders, any #2 will thrive in that offense and Stafford has already thrown a TD to him. PFF says "Nate Burleson isn’t coming back any time soon, and even if Megatron regains his record breaking form from a year ago, there are plenty of passes to go around. Durham, who isn’t as physically imposing as Johnson but still stands 6’6”, saw 13 targets against the Browns this past weekend, giving him 21 looks over the past two weeks (11 in the previous four games). If your fantasy team is off to a good start you might be looking forward to the fantasy playoffs, in which case Durham is even more appealing (Buccaneers, Packers, Eagles, Ravens, and Giants to end the fantasy season)."

Tolbert, I'll probably play in Flex this week (juicy matchup vs StL) but he'll be starting next week for T-Rich's bye if SJax's stupid Hammy isn't healed from week TWO. lol. It seems that Carolina reserves the Red Zone for Tolbert over D.Williams which is slightly funny, and PFF said "Tolbert is what he has always been, a short yardage back who has the unique ability to catch the ball out of the backfield, but he seems to be finally getting more looks. Over the last three weeks, the fullback has averaged seven carries and has scored three times... Tolbert’s role could be expanding, and with eight teams on bye over the next two weeks, he could emerge as a nice plug and play option".

So yeah, if you can pick up either I think they're the best WW pickups aside from J.Randle and possibly Boykin.

Yeah, I don't disagree with your take, just gambling on some talented receivers because I'm pretty much done for this season without some miracle (unless I've been mathematically eliminated). Looking at some possible high upside players, going by film and stats. Picked up Marvin Jones as well. Didn't feel like carrying both Keenan Allen and Vincent Brown, so I dropped Brown.

Brees is out for me this week, and someone got Foles from under me on Waiver last night. She texted me this morning thinking I'd actually trade for him. Yeeeeeah, no thanks.

So, do I gamble on Eli @ Min, or Freeman vs. Giants?

I've also got the following available:

Henne vs. SD, Ben vs. Baltimore, Bradford @ Carolina, Dalton @ Detroit, Tennehill vs. Buffalo, Flacco @ Pittsburgh, Geno vs. NE, Weeden @ GB, and Glennon @ Atl

I am currently sitting Vick on my bench as QB2. It's not looking likely that he'll start, but I may keep him until the end of the week before dropping him for one of the others above. Ya never know.

Gold, Jerry, GOLD

It started when Randle essentially told Wilson to shut up after Wilson posted one of those goofy, motivational “make sure y’all ride around and get it #allday” tweets.

Wilson responded by telling Randle “u suck ur on the bench of ma fantasy team.”

It escalated from there, as it often does on the Twitter, with Wilson telling Randle to “get off Twitter and get in your play book u bum,” Randle telling Wilson to do the same but adding “u might fumble it,” and Wilson telling Randle that if he drops another pass “I’m DROPPING U from my fantasy team.”

The insults continued until Randle crossed the line by referring to Wilson’s health status, which reportedly consists of a case of career-threatening spinal stenosis.

“Ain’t nutn wrong with yo neck. B Jacobs just punk’d u out ur spot,” Randle said.

Also, surprisingly, no one picked up Keenan Allen in our league last night. I dropped T.Y. Hilton for a Percy Harvin stash, but I'm thinking of dropping Terrance Williams for K. Allen. Thoughts?
