Going to poke the bear on a stick with this....

But what does your educational background have to say about his mechanics? I think he's a mess right now. Even though he put up yards in the 2nd half, he's *clearly* not close to healthy.

it's not pretty. it was obvious. unfortunately, the first couple games for rg3 are going to be, basically, his preseason games. he is one of the hardest working players in football. if there's an issue with mechanics, i have faith that he can fix it quickly.

i think, physically, he's healthy. i don't think he is mentally, and it's affecting his mechanics.

i know for a fact that his selective functional movement assessment was fantastic, so his body is moving functionally better than before. it could be that years of different mechanics than he has now are playing with his muscle memory. i dunno.

we both know that the recorded heights and weights aren't accurate at all when it comes to football.

no, i'm not fucking stupid. i just hate the cowboys and will never have a cowboys player on my team.

the fact of the matter is that thomas will get more passes than witten. why? because dallas has a running game and denver doesn't. it's really that simple.

thomas is going to be a bigger deal than witten. you'll see.

Yes, you're stupid. 1) For letting your stupidity prevent you from picking up players who can get you points, even if you "hate" the team and 2) Dallas has a run game? Since when? Murray is an accident waiting to happen, always has been.

to me, it isn't stupid. it's the principle of it. i won't cheer on a cowboys player, so i don't want one on my team. pretty simple.

explain to me how 120 yards on 20 carries isn't a run game...

Because it's 86 yards on 20 carries. So explain to me how you aren't stupid?

Giants sign Brandon Jacobs. Welcome to RBBC owners of David Wilson.

RBBC isn't the worst thing. At least knowing Brandon Jacobs is in there for passing downs as a blocker and even goal line work means that David Wilson will likely get playing time the rest of the time. Better than having him benched for a few games while Da'rel Scott takes over him. Scott isn't quite as fast as Wilson, but if he can block better he might have been his replacement for a few games.

Bradshaw was plenty productive when Jacobs was still there, so same might be true of Wilson. We might even see a three-headed monster like during the 2007 Superbowl season. The team will look a whole lot better when they get Andre Brown back, though, that's for sure.

I said I'd never draft a giants RB again after getting screwed by Jacobs two years ago. And I drafted Wilson as my second pick. Fuck me.

I can't let Wilson go. The potential is there and I drafted him for a reason. Only week one.

I know not to pick running back by committe being burned by saints and giants and yet I did it again.

I'm picking up Pryor to back up RG3. Really didnt like the way rg looked Should get him for a few bucks as other teams don't need a QB.

Grabbing Edelman for 7 I hope to carry me till GRONK is on. Trade bait later.

I hate making moves this early but I have to.

Oh im holding him tight for at least 8 weeks.

Watch for folks wanting to trade and buy low on him. Looking for suckers. It's one game. In my 12 team experienced league there is nobody available at rb. Nobody.

You want Wilson? Give me manning/Brees/Rodgers or a top ten consistent receiver. J

You don't drop studs. You don't trade studs unless you get studs in return. It's week one. Go look who's available at rb. Likely nobody. And it will only get tighter as the season goes.

In the middle would one let go of a top 20 rb after a bad game or two? Only if you're crazy.

This week was wonky. Hold your players that you drafted for a reason. Dropping your 2nd Or 3rd pick is just plain dumb.

Thankfully we have one of those guys in our league. I can't wait to kick his ass.

Problem is that his value was bid up way too high in the first place mostly beacuse Andre Brown went down. All of a sudden Wilson became a consensus high RB2 or even low-end RB1 pick when he was better suited as a RB3/Flex all along. Hell, he couldn't beat out Bradshaw last year and still wouldn't this year if the later was still a Giant. Besides, Eli has so many options with Cruz, Nicks, and Randle they don't need to rely on a "run first" gameplan. Even if Wilson stays the starter he's not worth RB1/2 money.

I know. I bought the hype on draft day. I know better than to take a giants or saints rb but I did anyway. That's all on me.

I get what you're saying, but just holding onto someone because they were your 3rd pick or whatever is silly too. At some point strings gotta be cut, picking that point is tricky.

It's early. Week one. Unless a player is out its going to take 4 weeks of nothing for me to drop a should be stud.

Have you looked at what's available at rb?

Play for the play offs. It's just week one.

Keep in mind that I haven't watched football or played fantasy in 3 years so I'm out of touch with would be studs. With my bartending job, it was impossible.

There is a little bit of talent out there to snag up without trading.

And for everyone about to waiver for vereen, you may want to rethink that.

I don't see the logic here...he is out until week 11, you are going to keep him around until then? I am dumping him this week to get Bell with the second waiver in my league.

Vereen was expected to miss only 2-3 weeks, but as usual with the Patriots, we didn't know the truth. Vereen won't be eligible to practice for six weeks, and can't return until Week 11 (New England is on bye in Week 10). It's a massive blow for an offense that's unusually short on playmakers as it waits for Rob Gronkowski to return. It also means Stevan Ridley could start getting some run on third downs, but Leon Washington is a candidate for passing-down snaps. Inexplicably, LeGarrette Blount now finds himself No. 2 on the depth chart, but that could change once Brandon Bolden (knee) returns. The Pats are likely in the market for veteran help. Vereen was primed for a fantasy breakout before going down. Put simply, it's a bummer.

you guys never listen lol

At this point I would much rather just role with Eli Manning as my QB and bench David Wilson for Eddie Lacy so in the end I am glad I did not make that trade. I am carrying Pryor as a backup QB.

On another note nobody read my work leagues waiver settings (there are none). I was up early yesterday and hawked Edelman, Bell and Julius Thomas as they were unlocked. At happy hour yesterday my coworkers in the league were bummed out with all of my quick grabs, I told them to get mad at the commish for the dumb rules and next time read up on them :p

Great steal!

I just got bell since I couldn't get the other two.

I'm up in the air now. Lamar miller or Bell for my rb2.

I hope Bell is back soon. The chatter was sounding great last week but now they say he could be out through their week 5 bye.

Giants sign Brandon Jacobs. Welcome to RBBC owners of David Wilson.

The Giants reportedly believe newly signed Brandon Jacobs can "possibly spell" David Wilson "on passing downs and maybe at the goal line."
Note that the veteran running back cattle call the Giants held Tuesday was scheduled before Wilson's nightmarish 2013 debut. Jacobs was brought back to help fill the gap left by Andre Brown (leg) -- not to take Wilson's starting job. A source tells ESPN New York that one of the reasons Jacobs was signed was because of his familiarity with their protection schemes, an area Wilson has struggled in. The two-time Super Bowl champ is also expected to help "mentor" Wilson in other areas. Per ESPN's Dan Graziano, "the odds are that [Jacobs] won't be getting too many touches right away, if ever."

News: ESPN New York says the Giants are going to give David Wilson "an opportunity to prove that the fumbling was a one-game issue."
Impact: The Giants were looking to sign a veteran to replace Andre Brown (leg) before Wilson's nightmarish Week 1. Brandon Jacobs -- who is 31 years old and basically been out of football since 2011 -- is not a real threat unless the fumbles keep happening. Remember that after a Week 1 fumble in 2012, Wilson went 15 straight games (127 touches) without coughing up the rock. We expect him to start and get the lion's share of the early-down work against the Broncos Sunday. The explosive second-year man is an obvious buy low.

Problem is that his value was bid up way too high in the first place mostly beacuse Andre Brown went down. All of a sudden Wilson became a consensus high RB2 or even low-end RB1 pick when he was better suited as a RB3/Flex all along. you understand he was a rookie last year, right? and yeah, his value went up because brown went down. adding third down and goal line was a big deal...
