I like Lacy. Washington gave up 260 yards to Philly and is coming off a shorter week.

McCoy is also one of the league's elite RBs. There's no way we can ascribe the same type of success to a rookie RB. He may torch WSH or he may put in another mediocre performance - he's an unknown still.

Meanwhile, SJax is pretty much a lock for at least 100 yrds combined rushing+receiving and 1TD against STL.

Managed to get Edelman for all 3 leagues, didn't give up much to get him. Could be consistent points, especially if Amendola is out.

Sorry you are a homer and a hater. And that makes for a bad Fantasy Manager. Thomas is a raw talent. Witten is a known commodity with nearly 1000 yards a season 7/11 seasons. He's Romo's bailout on a team with a lot less mouths to feed than Denver. Thomas will have higher weekly spikes than Witten but he's also going to absolutely screw you every 3rd week and put up a goosegg.

Since I've started doing fantasy football, back in 2001, I've been in the top 3 teams in almost every league I've been in. Clearly, I'm a good team manager.

Fuck Dallas.

you understand he was a rookie last year, right? and yeah, his value went up because brown went down. adding third down and goal line was a big deal...

I didn't say his value should not have gone up, I'm just saying it went beyond what was reasonable. He was being touted as a fringe RB1 at the peak of the frenzy and that was crazy. Here are the general consensus top RBs as of today, which one of the top 21 would you rank Wilson ahead of? IMHO #22 seems about right to me due to his weakness in pass protection, and that puts him cleanly in the very low RB2 category or better yet RB3/Flex just like I said.

1 Adrian Peterson (MIN)
2 LeSean McCoy (PHI)
3 Doug Martin (TB)
4 Jamaal Charles (KC)
5 Arian Foster (HOU)
6 Ray Rice (BAL)
7 Matt Forte (CHI)
8 C.J. Spiller (BUF)
9 Steven Jackson (ATL)
10 Reggie Bush (DET)
11 Trent Richardson (CLE)
12 Maurice Jones-Drew (JAC)
13 Alfred Morris (WAS)
14 DeMarco Murray (DAL)
15 Marshawn Lynch (SEA)
16 Darren Sproles (NO)
17 Darren McFadden (OAK)
18 Stevan Ridley (NE)
19 Chris Johnson (TEN)
20 Frank Gore (SF)
21 Eddie Lacy (GB)
22 David Wilson (NYG)
23 DeAngelo Williams (CAR)
24 Daryl Richardson (STL)
25 Ryan Mathews (SD)

He had every opportunity to hit 12 or 13 on that list, +/- stuff that's hard to predict. Everyone after that number has/had question marks.

I was able to pick up Boldin off the waiver wire today.

I still can't believe he went undrafted in our league.

Pick 2 RBs, already starting J. Charles

David Wilson
Lamar Miller
Joique Bell
Ben Tate

I'm having a hard time starting David Wilson. My thoughts are Miller and Bell as my RB2 and 3 (flex). However Ben Tate is getting some talk from the coach and outperformed Foster. So I could go Bell and Tate.

I like Bell for sure. Not sold on Tate or Miller over Wilson. Wilson is always a threat to bust a 70 yard TD scamper. He just needs a couple handoffs to be deadly.

I agree about Tate outperforming Foster. In the little bit I watched of the Houston vs SD game he looked night and day faster and more explosive than Foster. He was just hitting holes with a lot more effort and playing harder.

Kaepernick or Luck? Right now I am going with Luck as Kaepernick is playing in Seattle.

Tate or Miller?

I'm struggling with Kaepernick myself...I've got Rivers for my backup and I think that Philly vs SD game could end up being a shootout. Unlike the SFO vs. Seattle game which I think could be a 17-19 slugfest with a lot of TO's and very little offense.

I think Luck is pretty much guaranteed 300+ yards, another 20 on the ground, 2TD's couple sacks and an INT a week at this point. (Raiders game was wierd)

Go with Bell and Tate.

Bell is going to get a solid amount of targets/touches because of tender (i.e. not 100%) Bush. Tate is getting buku praise right now for his week 1 performance and Foster is tender as well. Both are great handcuff starting RBs.

On the other side of things: Miller is still sharing touches with Thomas (60/40) and coach won't even commit to Wilson ("We'll see") to be the starter over freaking Brandon Jacobs. Stay away for at least another week to see what happens.

I wouldn't overthink things here, I also have Kaepernick and I'm starting him. Sure, it will be a challenge but remember that he did well @Seattle last year (200+ yards passing, a TD and int + rushing yards) and wasn't the reason SF lost that game. Kaep is even better this year and I doubt a little crowd noise is going to stop this kid who is protected by the best OL in football. While Seattle's secondary is great, this could be the week that Kaep goes off on the ground if his receivers are well covered.

I think Seattle is a tough matchup for SFO. Seattle's corners are big physical guys...more like scaled down linebackers. They match up to Boldin and VD better than most. Seattle gets hurt more by shifty, speedy guys.

Probably overthinking, but I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Kaep do 12-15 points this week while Rivers has another 30 pointer trying to keep up with Philly.

This would be as good a week as any to start Rivers. However, Philly's D is better than we thought and rotoworld is putting them in the top 10 defenses to play this week (#10).

Plug-and-Play
You don't want to rely on these D/STs on a weekly basis, but their matchup is too juicy to pass up.

2. Philadelphia (vs. San Diego) – In a surprising twist, the Eagles defense came out and impressed on Monday night. They were aggressive in the pass rush with three sacks and had three takeaways against division rival Washington. We may have spoke too soon with this unit, and their fantasy arrow is now pointing straight up. The Chargers gave up 11 fantasy points to Houston on Monday night, and are coming east on a short week. It’s not the safest play, but the Eagles offer some of the biggest upside in Week 2.

I still think Kaepernick is the safer bet since the Philly D seems to be playing very well.

I'm leaning more that way. Tate is good for a decent 6-9 points, maybe even a TD. I'm risking a point or two stinker with Wilson.

Tough call.

My FAAB went through, 7 bucks for Edelmen and 3 for QB Pryor. I need a back up for RG3 in case he starts stinkin, which is a very real possibility after the way he looked.

RG3 will get back into form.. that was his playing time this year and he looked a lot better in the second half. Of course, I don't know if he's learned to slide or go out of bounds yet.

He looked timid, wasn't stepping into throws, seemed to have trouble with his legs treating them gingerly. I hope he gets full steam ahead soon.

Oh, and you guys haven't already looked at or picked up TE Jordon Cameron you should. He's likely not available though.

Edelman is still going to be the the patriots go to receiver this week.

I still don't know what to do about Wilson, the fantasy shows I listened to tonight say he's considered a weak RB2 and should be played above other RB3s as such this week. This is a very difficult call to start him or not.

I don't think he's fully healthy.. and there's the mental aspect to deal with when you're coming back from a surgery/injury like that. But he looked better as the game was coming along.. certainly gives a little hope.

In other news water is wet, fire is hot and Danny Amendola is injured yet again
