Practice injury?

Yep, planted and it just gave out. That sucks, he was going to be big in Luck pass protection.

Colts coach Chuck Pagano said Friday that Ballard had a suffered an ACL tear at practice Thursday after he planted his foot on the ground and his knee simply gave out.

Ballard was the team's starting running back ahead of former Giants starter Ahmad Bradshaw and Donald Brown, so it appears as though Ballard's carries will transfer over to that duo.

12 team 1 ppr, 15 rushing yards per point. Which running back should I start?

Frank Gore @ Seattle
Joique Bell @ Arizona
Fred Jackson vs Carolina

None of the matchups are good. I'm not thrilled with Gore but I will probably end up having to start him.

Tough one, Bell may get more chances at a goal line TD. Plus the game will be a shootout and he's likely to get receiving yards too.

Cam or Eli???

Leaning towards Eli (glad I started him last week) since the Giants will probably be playing in catch up mode by the 2nd half...

I have the same dilemma. I start 2 QB, 1 will be Stafford, the other either Cam or Eli. Leaning towards Eli as well. With Champ Bailey still out, and P. Manning probably racking up huge yards/points making it a shootout, it looks good for Eli. Especially since I'm in a yardage league.

This Fitzgerald situation is why you should never put early (especially Thursday) players in your flex. If you had Edelman and Fitz and put Edelman in your flex, you're now stuck replacing Fitz with a WR instead of having the option to put in an RB. Doesn't matter if Edelman or whoever is your third best player.

In my case, I'm playing Jennings in my WR slot and Fitz in my flex, and I can replace him with Joique Bell or Rashard Mendenhall if Fitz is inactive.

Why would anybody put a receiver in their flex spot is beyond me.

Then again. GRONK is my flex play.

Soon. Soon.

I proposed a trade for megatron + t-rich for Shady + Jackson (Chargers WR). My reasoning is that rushing yards are worth more in our league (33% more) so I should come out ahead assuming T-Rich doesn't go buck wild. What do you guys think? My other receivers are Edelman, Nicks, Roddy White (questionable though), Josh Gordon (back next week), and Lance Moore. My other RB's are MJD, Deangelo Williams, and McFadden. This team was autodrafted so I'm trying to make some moves to get more breakout production at RB and Shady is probably the biggest playmaker at RB, even moreso then AP because of Philly's new offense.

Flex spot in PPR league, right now I've slotted DeAngelo Williams. But I also have Brian Hartline or Knowshon Moreno I could use. Anyone think the other two are better?

Not familiar with Jackson (or any Chargers player really), but that seems like you're trading a lot away. Megatron is Megatron, and T-Rich takes his licks and keeps on ticking. Shady is great, but I don't know if he can sustain all season. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's my two cents.
