I am drafting Jimmy Graham in the first round next season. I don't care if the experts tell me to draft RB in the first 3 rounds, Jimmy Graham is a clear difference maker at that position. Even the #2 tier guys like Vernon Davis and Julius Thomas don't hold a candle to the numbers Graham put up this season

Yep. Agreed 100%. Jimmy, Brees or Peyton is who I'll target. Maybe Cam if those guys are gone. I think Cam's finally growing up a little, and it's making him a better, more consistent player.

My only saving grace with losing Gronk, is I actually finagled a trade for Jimmy Graham awhile back. So I'm not at a total loss going forward. It was awesome playing both of them though. Gonna miss that.

And everyone blasted me for saying going with Jimmy towards the end of the first/early second was crazy. :whiste:

I think I know which way I'm going here, but I'd like opinions from you guys.

My opponent is up on me (115 to 88) right now. She has Gould left tonight. I have Murray, and I need to pick between Dez and Alshon. It's a long shot for me to win, but there's still a slight chance.

Who would you guys slot up tonight? Dez or Alshon. Non PPR. ESPN standard.

Tough friggen call. Flip a coin? Alshon has been beast and Chicago passing game has been great. Dallas passing has been much more passive as of late.

I lean to AJ... but really could sleep at night with either choice.

Very tough. Dallas just hasnt been able to defend anyone lately either. And I own Romo...and absolutely detest him. I'd rather keep my opinion out of it (i'd lean to Alshon honestly), but good luck to ya.

HAH, I got in the same debate with my league and as the league went on, I brought it up again. It's funny because over half the people who went RB first got screwed for a first round pick. Football has changed! It's a passing league now and running backs get injured way too much compared to WR. Even the Tight Ends are blowing it up this year.

Who do you guys think are good pickups for week 15? I see some amazing talent in the WW that might be able to help me in the toughest matchup i have next week.

What's your current line up look like?

Shane Vereen may be my key to winning the playoffs in my one league, even though I'm more than likely the 8th seed. Opponent needs to score 80 points from Mccown, Alshon, and Bailey to beat me and put me out of the playoffs.

Not too great for a 10 man league but I managed to squeeze myself into a 4 man playoff, ten team league. :awe: Will need to grab some talent off of the waiver wire.

Mathew Stafford

Calvin Johnson
P. Garcon
B. Hartline
C. Patterson
Marvin Jones

Alfred Morris
Demarco Murry
Donald brown
D. Woodhead
Andre Ellington

Julius Thomas

Honestly, man, that lineup's not bad at all. Especially considering your league of ten teams is each carrying 5 WR's and 5 RB's (I'm assuming most, if not all, of the other teams are like yours in format).

Only weaknesses I see are Marvin Jones and maybe Donald Brown. Brown's performance yesterday was not stellar. You're good at TE, but maybe pick up Pitta if you can carry 2 TE's. If Pitta's not available, then Ladarius Green or maybe Delanie Walker if they're available. In that order.

Are there any really good WR's or RB's on your waivers?

We play QB, RB RB, WR, WR, TE, K, and Def.

The link below is everyone I'm considering to pickup wednesday. I have a really hard matchup next week and it doesn't seem like I'm going to win, not without a miracle at least.

Are all of the guys in your link there available in your league???

Besides the one that I have, Yes. Who should I pick up and play? The guy I'm playing against next weekend has a pretty elite team. His team is below and I'm pretty sure it's over for me unless the gods bless me with their might!

Tom Brady
Tony Romo

Demaryius Thomas
Andre Johnson
Josh Gordon
Eric Decker
Keenan Allen

Jamaal Charles
Shane Vereen
Zac Stacy

Jason Witten
Jordan Cameron

8 Team playoff? Why even bother with weeks 1-14?

Got 3rd seed. Crazy thing is 4-6 seed were all based on points.

Now hopefully I can get pitta or delanie walker plays.

I can't ask for a better schedule for LeSean McCoy & Nick Foles in my leagues.

week 15 @ vikings
week 16 vs Bears
week 17 @ cowboys

Shady is going to riverdance all over those three terrible defenses!

So... my only dilemma. Yahoo "projects" me as a 41 point favorite but still, need to pick 2 of these 3 (standard scoring):

Ben Tate vs Indy
Andre Brown vs Seattle
Shane Vereen vs Miami

Seattle D scares me and I don't think Brown is matchup proof.

The Indy defense has been generous to running backs as of late but if past performance is indicative Ben Tate did not have that great of a game against them last time. Of course this was sort of a weird game with the Andre Johnson explosion.

I don't like Andre Brown this week but Seattle has proven they can be beat by running backs (Gore - 110 yrds, Stacy 129 yrds, Foster 171 yrds, James 158 yrds). Still they hardly ever give up rushing touchdowns and Brown is pretty limited without scoring a TD.

Vereen is the safest play here. Miami is very generous to pass catching backs which is right up Vereen's ally. Ridley & Blount will get their share of the production but Vereen is going to get this biggest share of the pie. Go with him

So...I've got first waiver priority in a 12 man league. I'm a little shallow @ RB. Is Toby Gerhart worth it this week? I could also grab Pitta and drop him in a flex play too.
