Is this season's south park great so far?

This season is just the worst. not remotely funny. Cartman isn't being Cartman. Randy isn't being Randy.

NO. I'm done.

If you find most of this season to be unfunny - and found the MOST funny thing about the season so far to be "Scrottie Mc. Boogerballs" song, then I have some bad news for you... You're simply a dumbass. You obviously don't understand what is going on in the world, nor have the brains to make political satire connections - regardless of how obvious they are.

This has been HANDS-DOWN the funniest season EVER from South Park. I've watched and owned most of the seasons, and this is by far the best. I have yet to be disappointed in a single episode.

I was catching up on the season last night - I laughed my ass off numerous times. Maybe it was my mood, maybe it was the episode. Cartman was back to being Cartman during the ninja parts. When Isis contacted the boys and said they were going to send them money, and Cartman asked them if it was okay to have a Jew in their group - I'm laughing again at the thought.

I haven't really liked PC Principal - when Officer Barbrady shot his gun, I was kind of hoping it was PC Principal who was hit. Though, then we got to see the satire from shooting an unarmed Mexican student.

finally a good episode. they should have condensed this one and every other PCPrincipal into two episodes and then moved on.

Agreed. A fantastic episode, but it's not worth the build up of so many mediocre episodes due to them needing to adhere to their seasonal arc.

I like the idea of the arc if it's executed well. South Park is at its best when it avoids that and has more spontaneously original ideas.

I thought the first few episodes were boring/not funny but then as the season progressed it got better. The last two episodes kinda tied it up and the season finally made sense.

Exactly. A focused multi-parter like the Imaginationland or Black Friday can work very well. But for a whole season they're forced to stretch things out too far and handcuff themselves in the process.

It just sort of fell apart at the end? Or maybe I'm just too dense. I certainly didn't "get it".

Yeah, it proved that the writers couldn't put together a season long arc. Nothing was really tied up besides Wholefoods leaving and we're still stuck with PC principal.
