I'm pretty sure what I ahve in my computer is:
http://www.mwave.com/mwave/skusearch.hmx?SCriteria=BA20623&CartID=done&nextloc=
Right now, I am using an Intel Pentium D CPU 3.40GHZ (dual core), 2gigs of OCZ Gold DDR667. and ASUS GeForce 7900GTX. I've been experiencing lockups and blue screen crashes.
My question is if you think it is the power supply or the video card is faulty? I can't get through 5 minutes of any 3d application without crashing, but i am also getting some blue screen lock ups just doing normal ****** like browsing the net, etc. I had figured the video card was faulty as I have heard many problems with them and they seemed similar to mine so I am in the process of doing an RMA and my new video card which is an ASUS X1900XT pcie16x 512mb will be here monday.
I guess my main question is if the PSU will provide enough power for my system or could my problems be coming from the PSU and not the vid card? Is there a way to see exaclty what PSU is in your comp without taking it out and looking at it, because I couldn't find it in device manager or DXdiag
Thanks for any help.
