My first intuition is that its fake because its on 4chan.

I reduced the original pic because it was over 2 megs in size.

This is a big plus. Those missiles are going super sonic speed...you probably wouldnt even hear it, let alone see it long enough to actually start running.

Seems like it could be legit, though I would think the missile would be more blurred than it is. The target could also be much farther away than the image initially appears.

Are they? I've never seen a rocket in action, but if you saw the smoke plume at the start, and watched where it went after running out of fuel, you might be able to see it come down. It could be almost in free fall at the outer limits of it's range.

I think its fake, you don't have like 5 seconds to run when a missile is falling down on you. The time it takes to drop and hit the ground is probably like 2-3 seconds with rocket propulsion.

Unless you knew the aircraft was coming beforehand, which I thought the US tries to be stealthy?

that isnt a missile that is a laser guided 500lb bomb, so yes the people would be able to see it fall from the fighter/bomber that dropped it.

Missile looks big enough to be V2 rocket sized judging by the distance of the buildings.

trust me, i can. ive seen a few bombs dropped to say that pic is of a laser guided gravity bomb. its no missile.

Easiest way to tell if this is real or not is to ask people who live there or near there.. if anyone knows someone.

But the article is dated from almost 3 years ago in 2007, it was quite some time.

but GIS says 'laser guided bomb' is probably the correct answer.

I found the coordinates of the Nuseirat camp on wikipedia and using google maps coordinates.
31°26′51.56″N 34°23′34.35″E google maps

I don't see any craters or explosions.. this is assuming the sattelite images are since after 2007. Google watermarks are saying 2008-2009 in the area.
