Yup USPS money order fraud is on the same order as counterfeiting money.

That letter supposedly from the USPS has enough spelling and grammar errors in it to get me thrown out of kidnergarten english class. I wouldn't expect anything official form the USPS to have ANY errors in it.

Where did you ship it to? Why is FedEx destroying it instead of just sending it back to you? If newegg can recall a package mid-transit, why can't you?

because it is already in transit internationally. going to cause some $260 to ship it back to me. screw that, i'll rather have lost my money and learn my lesson.

they never going to send a USPS money order. if he ever receives payment it's probably going to be a bunk check from consutant.com

but definitely print out that letter since it specifically mentions USPS as the sender- that's undoubtedly fraud. Show it at your local PO and possibly police station and file a claim.

the police may be able to recall the package instead of you having to pay for it?

Dude, you fell for that?!?!?! Are you insane?!?!

And people always wonder why these scams keep on coming, it's because silly people, like the OP keep the scams alive by falling for them. Use some common sense!

If you can't get it back then have FEDEX DESTROY THE DAMN PACKAGE!!! Why? You are out of the item and the money in the first place. All sending the item to the scammer does is ENCOURAGE THEM to keep this crap going. Don't follow one moronic mistake with another one.

$260 to have a PSP shipped back to you?? That cant be right, even if the CEO of FedEx delivered it himself it wouldnt be that much. Tell them its fraud and to use the cheapest way back to you. If you get a sympathetic CS person im sure they will help.

The only way that scam could have been more obvious is if you sent that package do Nigeria. How did you get 3000+ posts on this forum without being clued in to things like this???

Someone should go to your house and slap you in the mouth for helping out the scammers like you just did :)

Wow.... just wow. I can't believe you read that email and thought it was legit. I would call shens, b/c I didn't think there was a single AT member who would do this, but I think you actually fell for this. It's offical, you suck at life.
