Pointing out the 12 item limit is proper.
How did you know that she could not speak/understand English.
I can see multiple native English people ignore the line limits.

I agree. I think that remarking because she's Asian means she can't speak English is a bit ignorant, but I see no qualms about pointing out how she's inconveniencing others. I was in Wal-Mart the other day and as I was checking out in the express lane, two ladies come up behind me with a cart full of stuff. The cashier says to me, "They seriously want to check out here?" I just say back, "I'm really not surprised."

Although, I kind of wish I would say things sometimes. Like one time I was going to an express lane with about 14 items (limit of 20 in these lanes) and these two kinda scummy looking ladies dart in front of me (literally... I think they were out of breath!) I can kinda ignore someone being that much of a dick, but these people had a cart full of items! I really should stop being a pussy and just say something, so maybe these people will learn and not treat others so poorly (but I doubt they will).

I don't think I have yet to see either of those two previous categories driving the carts, I have only seen the heavily overweight loading up with more junk food than anything else. Sorry, not trying to stereotype the overweight, but that is the ONLY people I have seen in walmart's electric carts.

I have once or twice, but I mostly see obese people in them. Although, I don't want to be rude and just think all of them are fatties as it's possible that some may have an actual condition (and not hand-to-mouth syndrome).

Works for me.
I went into WalMart once to pick up 2 five gallon buckets of paint to paint the interior of my garage (fresh sheet rock). I am walking down the isle with a bucket in each hand and I am in a hurry because it's my lunch break.
Two couples are standing in the isle blocking it while as they had a discussion. I assumed they were friends who had run into each other. I blurted out, "Jesus fucking Christ! Just block the whole fucking isle!"
They were shocked as was I. I felt a little embarrassed but the 3 tooths deserved it.

As mentioned above, I wish I would just do that sometimes instead of just getting out of other's way. I think I literally say more "excuse me's" and stuff in Wal-Mart than I say in all other places combined. People not giving a shit where they leave their cart, if they just come out into an aisle right in front of you, etc.

Use profanities to express yourself in public....whaaaaa...way to go OP....NOT!!

I bet my money that OP didn't say anything..too scared but posted on here to show how touch/hard core that he is.

BTW, white/black/hispanics/elbonics/etc. screwed up at the check out lines all the times...especially at WM.

Yes, it was mean and yes, it was racist as well.

Of course, only an overly considerate person like you would make sure you didn't offend people around you by using such language out loud (not to mention looking for kids around you before swearing out loud).

was that wrong? everyone was getting irritated at the lady though. what a tool.

If that was me you said that to the last thing you are going to remember is a jar of Hellmann's Mayonaisse over your skull followed by fresh from the oven baked italian bread right up your ass.

Oh by the way, yes, lady should have read the signs but you were a complete jackass about it.

I agree with this post except for the baked Italian bread part, I love fresh bread too much to waste it so.

Yes. Thanks for playing.

really?

since when?

Forever.

In my <3.

<3 <3 <3.

I only speak Latin as a second language, because other than traveling, I only speak English to conduct and serious business in my daily life and frankly I like English, it's a nice language, and it is (even if it is not official) the majority language of the United States.

People used to learn English when they came to this country.

go to nogales sometime. i was working there last week for three days, left my suitcase on my couch. only store there to buy a quick pair of pants and a shirt plus chones and deodorant was the local walmart. even tho its in arizona, all the signage and announcements are in espanol. the local fast food places speak espanol until you answer in english as well.

as for the 30 items in the 15 or less line thing, ive had chashiers tell me to go ahead and queue up in their line because they werent busy just to have some douchebag come up behind me and bitch about the amount of stuff i had. every time that happens (has happened at least 10 times) ive turned and told them to tell the cashier, since they told me it was ok. usually said douchebag looks at the cashier and is answered with a nod from them, and they stand there in awkward silence until i turn and finish my business. i dont bitch about people in that line with more than the allotted amount due to this. i dont know what happened right before i got in line, and they may be just doing what the cashier assked them to do.

Its not official but technically you are supposed to be able to read, write, and understand the english language to pass the citizenship test(sometimes this req is waved).

ironically, i get credit card offers in spanish every week in my mailbox. my children bring me papers from school in spanish due to my mexican surname. i am half mexican, yes, but im fully americanized and speak very little spanish. my dad still speaks it, but i was never taught to speak spanish as a child, since i was raised by my german mother. i dont speak german either.

I laughed a little. Inappropriate or not, funny. I assume she's just a selfish whore who thinks she is above the rules but we all make our own assumptions.

I will say walmart has a confusing setup where we are. They have double rows of checkers and sometimes the line you think is for the normal cashier goes to the express. If they turned their lights on and off properly it'd be more clear.

I avoid walmart like the plague though. It's always an event.

OP is a troll, albeit not a very good one. Look at his posts in his short week here already....lots of anger and bitching.

If you are some 12 year old punk and trying to impress your friends, maybe your actions are a little more understandable, although still inexcusable. Otherwise you're just juvenile and racist.

I don't like when people have 30 items in express lines either, but that hardly gives you the right to throw a hissy. Learn some tact sometime in your life, you'll thank me later.
