Bears scored on every possession.. wowow NFC LEAST!
Two games this year where a team didn't punt the entire game...both against the cowgirls (other time was against Denver)...

I live south of Chicago. I know about 20 bears fans.
Might be regional. Shrug. I just don't wanna see gobs of cash go towards cutler when teh defense needs bolstering. O-line finally rocks, 2 great receivers, a great TE, a great back.. and defense goes to shit.
Different year, same ole Cowboys. Choking after Thanksgiving holiday and in December, just like they have been for years.
I just saw the Gronk hit for the first time. To me - It was low, but not dirty.
I'm not sure how you solve this. How else can you tackle a guy that size if you're a little DB? I would love for all defensive players to drive through the torso but I'm not sure that DB would have done anything but bounce off of Gronk.
Ugh. I hope we just tank the rest of the season and absolutely bomb next. I don't know how else to get it through Jerry's mind that he sucks as a GM, and our coaching staff sucks. He was quoted a few weeks back saying the ownership structure doesn't allow for someone else to be GM - no no, you won't allow anyone else to be GM. I can't figure out how else we get that message through Jerry's stubborn head without just completely sucking. The mediocrity of 8-8 or consistently missing the playoffs isn't enough, apparently.
Trestman: Hey Jay, we are ready for you to start. Follow me
Cutler: Sweet!
*they both walk for a while*
Trestman: Ok Cutler, the spotlight is waiting for you right through this door
Cutler: Ummm, why is there and exit sign above the door?
It's not dirty for sure, but I'd sure like a return to the days of ACTUAL tackling. You know, shoulder into the torso and wrap your arms around them. This turning your body into a human missile and aiming for the legs is the lazy way out and its costing players their livelihood and fans the best possible product to watch.
Gronk is the 41st player this year that's had a season ending knee injury which is up 64% from 2011 when the fines and high tackle rules starting really going into effect.
We recorded eight of these 32 ACL injuries resulting from contact: Besides Kellers, examples included a knee crashed into at the line of scrimmage, or one offensive lineman accidentally cut-blocking his own teammate, as happened with Pittsburghs David DeCastro and Maurkice Pouncey. The other 24 ACL injuries we classified as non-contact injuries. West says that studies show about 70 percent of ACL tears result from non-contact injuries; our unofficial sample, showing 75 percent non-contact injuries, is on par with that figure

Most knee injuries have been non-contact this year.

People are blaming the turf, cleats, not having the off season workouts/training camps of the past. Its probably a cumulation of all of the above in some way.
+ PEDS that make muscle stronger at the risk of weakening connective tissues. All those things above plus that = bad juju
If that is the case, NFL players should start Yoga. It, apparently, works great for wrestlers. Despite having predetermined outcomes to matches and the moves not intending to cause damage, they put themselves through a lot of physically brutal stuff. And, with no regulation, they all do steroids.
