Lucky you don't subscribe to Hong Kong newsgroup.
Everyday there are newbies asking why their fx5200 64bit or gf4 mx so slow.
There needs to be a way to end these naming schemes.

He needs shooting. I hate people like that who wont accept the truth and try to find ways to justify their pittyful answers.
A while ago, i was ment to be selling my old GF3Ti200 to my mate for £70, but his dad said that his friend said that a GF4MX 440 is better. My mate said he wanted my card cos he had seen the AT Benchmarks, but his dad would`nt have it, and so hes stuck with a crappy GF4MX 440.


 
I seriously hate ppl who think they know poo and they dont!

one of the biggest pet peeves.. so i just say w/e and go on w/ my life.

I would but hes a clay head (you`ll understand if you live in the UK and are into footy), So he wouldnt know what a computer is. They`re all primitive clay heads in stoke, strait out of the furness. lol.

LOL... but nVidia's Barton core now uses a 400 Mhz FSB and 512KB of cache! 😉

Right that was such a ground-breaking conversation that it just HAD to be posted, I mean, stop-press, dumb kid knows nothing about computers, whats the world coming to? Id contact CNN while youre there, theyre bound to be interested. I mean, Im sure theyd love to know how someones so anal that they had to post a full conversation of a hardware discussion that holds no interest to anyone else whatsoever. So what, the kid was full of sh*t, but did it offend you or something? Cant you BELIEVE that everyones not as clued up as you are? Ive seen some stuff in my time, but this takes the biscuit, I think a reality-check is needed. :disgust:

Richdog, welcome to Anandtech, moron. This kind of stuff gets posted all the time, do you think I'm the first one to do it? It wasn't the fact that he didn't know, its the fact that he refused to believe he was wrong. So if you don't like it, stfu and don't read the thread.
 
Lawrence: it's the same as the high end with less L2 cache and a slwoer front end bus speed, the chip architecture is totaly differen from GF2 and 3

I stopped reading after this as well, as it gives me some clue as to the scope of this person's debating skills.

If I were you, I would've changed the subject because with people like this it's not about arguing the facts. In his mind, he is always right and you are wrong. This is where that quote comes from, to never argue with an idiot because he will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.
