Yea I know, I didn't even bring that up to him, I'm sure he would have insisted that it had them.

Richdog, welcome to Anandtech, moron. This kind of stuff gets posted all the time, do you think I'm the first one to do it? It wasn't the fact that he didn't know, its the fact that he refused to believe he was wrong. So if you don't like it, stfu and don't read the thread.

S#!+, i dont get it:
why the f*** u guys are hatin on the poor kid?! Dang, if he dont know something - f***n educate, not friggin diss him. It aint his fault that he friggin doesnt spend 24.5 hours a day staring at the PC screen, researching which VGA provides what FPS. He heard somebody say what he said, and he took that as reference. What i dont understand is that there isnt anybody who would stand up for a kid. $#!+ until 2000 i didnt know that so much performance relied on a mobo.
Apparently a lot of people feel strong saying how bad they would beat the kid up (???!!!) to each other.
What the f*** is up with you guys?! I couldnt even imagine people (and mostly grown men) would act like this.

I got a question for yall: 2 days ago, a "friend reliability test" happened to me spontaneously. Me and 5 guys were gettin home at 3:30 (AM), from a good night in a club. Upon the exit of the metro station we encoutered 8 skin heads, in their 16-20 yrs old, drunk and mindless. They asked if we had change. When they recieved a negative reply, they decided that one of my friends was armenian. They strted pushing him. 1 of my "friends", Ivan, ran away because he was scared. We thought he was gonna get backup. He called me next morning, asking "How i feel". A fight began. Alex, who they thought was an armenian, had his nose broken, and his jaw misplaced. Arteom - just looked like a bloody pulp. The least lucky one was Andrew, who just happened to be of skinny constitution. He had his hand smashed, and arm broken. Me - i was the luckiest. 2 misplaced fingers, and smashed lip. now i have this awful twitch in my index finger. Now i have a feeling, that yall be just like Ivan. He also talks about beating people up (not a Russian trait). Well, Arteom was mad, and now Ivan is at the hospital.
Ill bow down if u dont get *scared* upon SEEING a Russian skinhead, let alone encountering him. And if i didnt mention it be4, im 17.

"There are no stupid questions; only stupid people."
'nuff said. If you realize you know jack, and ask, you will be educated.
If you can't accept you are wrong when you obviously are, you've qualified for a rank of, "stupid."
...and all he needs for performance comparisons is to have someone who knows something link him to Tom's VGA charts.

Slightly muddled, but the kid has a point, a lot of people on here seem to have a serious problem with social niceties, if this thread is deemed 'worth it' because some kid didnt know what the hell he was talking about, no matter how stupid he was, then it seems you peoplehave more problems than he does. Id also love to know how old Deeko is... ;)

I think the reason for this thread, was not to make fun of this bloke, but to show how some people wont listen and refuse to belive correct information

Itd be nice to think so mate, but phrases like 'Ive got a new hunting knife and Ive been waiting to try it out...' etc make it unlikely. Maybe its just hyperactive americans or something... thank god for being British, lol.

I love how you condensed everyone's comments into a single line that was intended as a joke.

Perhaps you should be the next recipient of the rubber band + hunting knife treatement.

lol it would be funny to see you try. And im from Sussex BoomAM, and yes youre also right, the Americans remain somewhat stunted in their sense of humour, ESPECIALLY sarcasm, im afraid it still proudly remains a british trait. As well as having the best comedians in the world.

It'd be funnier still to see me succeed.

Best comedians in the world? Maybe, because I'm sure laughing now. Care to back that statement up?

You know... this thread was worth reading for a while... but like so many things it's devolved to what it is now.
It's icky and I don't want to touch it... well, maybe with a long stick - just to see if it's really as slimy and disgusting as it looks. Yeah.... it's a grosser all right. Ewwww.....

Oh yea, British humor is great, let me tell you how much funnier Trigger Happy TV is than Jackass

Back on topic, since Richdog is being an assmonkey and getting us off topic. To that guy that rambled on semi-incoherently, no, it does not have anything to do with his lack of knowledge, likle you seem to think. I work retail selling computers, I deal with people that don't know anything every day. it is the fact that he vehemently insisted that he was right, and wouldn't even look at benchmarks. Oh and what does that skinhead story have to do with the topic?
