A friend of mine just went to court had a lawyer good college GPA no previous driving record. She (the judge) said looking at your GPA you should have know better gave him 6 months with all but 8 days suspended. Is that not a bit excessive? Cuffed him right there and took him.

Translated.

My friend was driving 20miles an hour over the speed limit and got busted for "20mp over w/ wreckless driving." His case was good college GPA, no previous offense, good lawyer. The judge said "you should have known better" and sentenced him to 6 months with 8 days already served. Bit Excessive? Took him away right there.

Are you for hire? I could use someone like you to correct all my reports. I'm new that was my first topic cut me some slack.

I know someone that got caught for almost 80 in a 35. Had to take a alive at 25 class and do some community service. Got lucky.

Sh!thead deserved it. Especially if it was in a residential area.

It was on the interstate. If it was residential i would agree but on the interstate who can say they have never just been driving along not paying attention doing 75 in a 55? If he was a repeat offender again through the book at him but he is 22 with a perfect record who here can say that?

that doesn't sound like "8 days in jail" that sounds like 6 months in jail

20 over on the Interstate? What else was going on that made it any more 'wreckless'?

Nothing, This Judge was a relatively attractive blond woman but man did she have her panties in a bunch that day she sent almost everyone there to jail.

He was sentenced to 6 months in jail with all but 8 days suspended. So if he does anything he has to serve the full 6 months plus whatever she adds for the new offense god knows what that would be.

this is what you get for having religious/conservative judges lol just kidding

This is the problem with women in positions of power 1st they tend to overcompensate to prove their "man enough" for the job. 2nd catch them during their period and your screwed.

If your friend was put in jail for 8 days because he did 20 over on the speed limit then that judge is a joke and should not be judging anything. I wish judges were more accountable for the crap decisions they make. If I were "judging" this judge I would sentence her to 8 days in jail and a lifetime of asking people if they would like that supersized instead of making life altering decisions that she obviously can't do.

Virginia Near DC on I95

75 in this area, and he got 8 days???? To all of the holier than thou people in this thread, you don't understand. 75 is NORMAL for the entire region on all of the highways. The speed limits are set artificially low at 55 mph. You can go 70 mph your entire life around here and never worry about getting a ticket.

By the books, 75 in a 55 in Virginia is wreckless driving, but this judge sounds like she has an axe to grind. NOBODY drives 55 around here except when traffic prevents you from doing so.
