You're already getting tickets for driving like an asshole, you think cops are going to show mercy to some douche with Batman emblems on his car? ROFL!! You'll be on a first name basis with every traffic court judge in your state.

I like your thinking. I'm going to ask the dealership to remove the badging next time I buy a car and I'll see what they say.

I hate dealer badging on cars. If you want to put that little frame on the license knock yourself out but stop adding stickers or those faux chrome badges that don't look quite right.

It's dumb. B/C someone like ME will knock on your window at a stoplight and ask you to demo the turbo boost/rocket launcher/grappling hook/other cool Batmobile stuff. And when you say "DUH! This isn't the friggin' BATMOBILE, TARD!" I'll say "Then you are falsely advertising, TARD."

And then you will feel bad. Really bad. And then you'll kill yourself b/c of feeling badness.

And we wouldn't want that.

So please don't be a douche and put that fricking thing on your car. Thanks.

You have big dreams bro.

Emblems are attached in two ways. Either with screws or with double stick tape. On my Honda, the rear emblems were attached with double stick tape. To remove, take a heat gun or blow dryer and heat up the emblem. Then use some dental floss and slide the floss behind the emblem in a sawing motion. Any sticky residue left, just use some Goo Gone. Apply wax when done. If you have an emblem that is screwed on, then it becomes much more difficult. Best to take it to the body shop and let them remove the emblem, fill the hole with body putty and touch up the paint. Plan on $150 or so to remove and cover two fender emblems and screw holes. Actually, now a days, the manufactures are using more and more double stick tape. It removes much better on a new car then one which is already years old.

If OP is 30+ and is a comic fan, that's cool. But I hope you aren't one of those 20 yo kids.

That is pretty cool. The Optima is not a bad car when cost is a major factor.

A lot of the C types I am working around are going Hyundai lately. At the higher trim levels they have a ton of gadgets and convenience I didn't know they were deploying.

You should upgrade to a Kia.
