I never thought about the whole eugenics thing till I started seeing articles pop up. Seems like a stretch to me. If "the left" is really out raged by this we are fucked.
It seems so astroturfed to me. As a liberal I feel the same way.The Right is claiming this whole situation is anti-liberal and it’s causing librul tears, but as a liberal myself, I don’t see the issue here. Syndey isn’t even MAGA from what I understand.
It just highlights how the Right’s entire existence and purpose in life is to try to disparage the Left because that’s all they have to make themselves feel better. Like LBJ said, if you give someone for them to look down own, they’ll empty their pockets for you. Meanwhile, most people on the Left literally don’t give a fuck and live their lives like normal people do.It seems so astroturfed to me. As a liberal I feel the same way.
Yep. The right wing ecosystem will take anything that anyone who might be left of center says, even if it is some giant nobody, and attribute to ALL people left of Mussolini so they can continue to feed the right-wing outrage machine.Another manufactured outrage from the right. I've managed to avoid knowing anything about this and I'm definitely excessively online and left.
The entire right wing media ecosystem exists to make mountains out of mole hills or even thin air if necessary. This is the last one.

Right wing media is doing everything it can to distract from the fact that the GOP is protecting pedophiles and child traffickers, including the one holding the highest office.A jeans ad? Who cares?
My guess is whoever came up with that add got a big bonus and a promotion. It's getting played everywhere, getting talked about, getting a hundred times the exposure it normally would. It's either absolutely inspired or a really happy accident.
Fat fucking chance.
You might just learn something.
The original article I saw (posted in a more conservative place than here) sourced the outrage from a couple TikTok accounts and one Threads account, all from people that don't have a particularly large following (the biggest one has almost 19k, the others are 2-3k, not sure how many they had before this thing).Wait…was this outrage manufactured by the right, or manufactured by the media for clicks?? I actually think the latter is more plausible. Sure, the trollosphere will feed off of it—but this blew up in my feeds because of more mainstream outlets.
Oh I know, he just doesn't get to ever say someone hasn't attempted to help him learn. Also it's a great series on how the fuck we got to the shitshow that is the current mess. The last 4 episodes are great at breaking down how right wing media comes from a very different approach.Fat fucking chance.
