Transformers : The Movie --> about 10-15 minutes into the movie there's a big Autobot vs Decepticon battle that is sweet. Near the end of the battle where the Autobots are almost defeated, Optimus Prime arrives at the last minute and takes out almost all of the Decepticons by himself before he fights Megatron.

Yep. Liked that one, and opening to saving private ryan was great too.

Probably my fav is Indy when he shoots the guy waving the sword at him. :)

Putting on the asbestos suit for this one.

Steven Seagal in "Above the Law"

The scene where the bad guy has him tied to a chair, gives him a shot of some drug, and Seagal pretends to pass out.
Then he pops up and wipes out five guys in about three seconds. That scene was great!

Werd. Where do you think Matrix stole their ideas from?

Full-Time Killers had some good ones. Much simpler. A guy walks into the street with a shotgun and just blasts a bunch of guys down.
And at the end, they go for the Metal Slug ending.

I dunno if this counts, but Pulp Fiction's ending scene was great. No shots fired, but it's all about the gun.

The Bank scene in Heat owns all other gun scenes.
The Lobby scene in the Matrix was ok, but compared to Heat it almost seems childish.

I gotta say Face/Off. The shootouts at the airport at the beginning and then in the appartment hideout 3/4 of the way through were excellent!!

Heat's bank scene was good, too.
i agree, Heat's was really well done. And not only the protaganist get the best shots off, pacino makes a few good one:)P ) also.

third... i was in awe when i saw that... the automatic machine guns echoing through the crowded city... ownage... i loved it.. i watched that scene over 10 times... only good part of the movie :)

What are you talking about? Heat is a great movie throughout. I use to think the same as you, but after watching the 2nd and 3rd time I was drawn into the story. The coffee shop scene and the last scene where Pacino and Dinero shook hands for the last time were priceless. While not an action flick, it is a very powerful drama.

THE GAUNTLET. OMG. SO MANY BULLETS. I always wondered though. cops are on both sides of the streets right. Wouldnt there be crossfire going on and the cops would be shooting each other on the opposite side of the street

They're gay (had the hots for the two leads). Really though, I bought this DVD on the word of mouth it got on these forums and boy was I dissappointed. Boondock Saints was a bad Tarrantino ripoff.

Boondock Saints is a quality flick. All Tarantino stuff is sh|t.

Heat is better. Matrix was entertaining in a cartooney sort of way, but Heat is what a real gunfight would feel like.

LOL, you are out of your mind. Pulp Fiction is one of the all time classics! Why did you hate it?
