Is there anything John Kerry won't flip-flop on? First he loves Arafat, now he hates him?

First he says no to body armor, then he says Bush should have bought body armor for the troops. Flip-Flop

While I would like to see all Senators and Representatives vote on everything. "Not Voting" on S. 762 isn't voting "No". Which is the Senate version of H.R> 1559 which authorized the spending on Body Armor.

Doesn't he have a responsibility to vote on such things? If he's soooo concerned about it - why didn't he show up to vote on it?

Probably for the same reason Bunning, Domenici, and McConnel didn't vote either. It also could have been he was still recovering from cancer surgery on Feb. 28th.

Kerry cancer surgery? Feb 12. 2003
Vote on Bill S.762? April 3, 2003

Anyway - didn't kerry vote against more money for Iraq? What does he think - they don't need more equipment? He claims he supports our troops yet doesn't want to follow through with funding. I think that pretty much says it all. Voted to give Bush the nod for military action then votes against the funding.:p

Appears we are both off on the date.. That was the bill I referenced S. 762 where he and 6 other, 3 Republicans and 4 Democrats, where absent and so didn't vote. Unless there is a different bill?
