All sin is bad. But once accepted the grace of God (His giving of the Son for your Sins) no sin can separate you from him since Jesus has taken it on him and paid with his blood for your sin. Thus even if one would kill himself in a moment of weakness would not automatically separate you from the price that was paid for you.

Sad, YES. Stupid, YES. Wasted possibility's, YES.
Separated from God, Nope don't see that!

But what do I know!

If you consider it, or someone you know... PLEASE PLEASE seek counseling!

you need to talk to a fundamental Baptist they will tell you it matters not. It depends on how you interpret the Bible.

Umm are you sure?
I'm pretty sure someone else was hammering the nails into his palms and so on.
Although he could have done one hand by him self, I'm not sure about the rest.

I figure that it's up to God to decide in all situations. But in any case it's sad for anyone to even be considering such a thing. Having seen first-hand (twice) the incredible pain and emotional torture it causes the friends and family of suicide victims, I can't even imagine how suicide could be the best option for anyone.

No matter what anyone is facing, there is always hope. Sometimes people just don't see where that hope is, and counseling can help get people to see both sides.

Yes, it was created so that political leaders can convince dumbmasses to kill each other for profit and the advancement of the leader's goals.

What if you're given a choice of killing a bus full of nuns and children or yourself and you pick yourself. Wouldn't that be benevolent?

exactly...exceptions?

you knowingly die for something. Sacrifice is a form of suicide? or is suicide a form of sacrafice?

That situation doesn't seem like your death is driven by the purpose to take your life. It sounds like outside forces are still somehow responsible for your death and even though you pulled the trigger, you didn't want to die. Maybe there's an exception based on whether your desire is to end your existence or not. The nun thing is really a desire to save them that can only be accomplished through the act, which would not be chosen if at all possible.

I guess it's really up to God in the end though.

OMG are you serious?!?!?!?

That's enough to put a stop to any suicidal ideas I'll ever have!

In extreme situations it is possible. You would be killing yourself (sin) and dying (death with sin = going to hell). But if say you cut your wrists then miraculously realize that you have sinned, want to live and repent (confess to the lord you sinned and genuinely ask for forgiveness) God will forgive that sin, even though you might be 3 seconds from dying.

But the chance of that possibly occcuring is nil. from the time of deciding to actively take your life to making a complete attitude change is extemely small...too small.

What if you are in a burning high rise apartment and the fire engulfs you, and you jump out of the window?
God clearly wanted to burn you alive, but there you are taking matters into your own hands. No heaven for you?

What? Just because you got caught in a fire doesn't mean God wanted to burn you. Sheesh.

But the point is, you choose to escape the suffering by killing yourself. So if you are depressed, and choose to escape the suffering by killing yourself, why is it then totally different?

I think you stay in pergatory? Just stuck here between Heaven and Hell. So I guess it'll kinda be like ghost except nobody will know you're here. I don't know if you'll be able to channel through physics either.

You only get to heaven by having Jesus in your heart and being saved. It's unfortunate that a saved person would commit suicide, but it's happened. But that's the only way someone who committed suicide would go to heaven that I know of.

This is exactly the problem with religion. Twisting things around with words to fit benefit yourself.

Because the burning building would've killed you. I doubt that most people who commit suicide are in that type of situation. They're going "Sucks to be me, might as well kill myself" vs "Holy crap, I'm burning to death"..

What if you have a mental disease and that causes you to kill yourself. Did the mental disease kill you, or did you kill yourself?
