I have been using 2003 for years and never had any real problems. Should I "upgrade"?

IMO, it's a matter of preference.
I actually LIKE 2007 and find it easier to use than 2003 and earlier versions, BUT, there is a learning curve since for the first time, there are no menu bars...only the ribbon.
Once you get familiar with the ribbon however, it's easy to use, you can scroll across the various options without having to click on the menu to get to your options, and (for me) things are laid out in ways that make sense.
My school, (akchewelly, I just grajewated) has gone to all Office 2007 applications, and if you're in one of the various computer classes, everything has to be done with 2007. (obviously, it doesn't matter for papers written for homework or essays)

you should better get one because I kept on hearing people love office 2007 new ribbon interface.

edit: and if that isn't enough, you can Save As PDF once you go to Microsoft's site and get the freebie Save As PDF add-on 🙂

What time does your flight leave from Bizarro world? The ribbon interface is another classic example of MS changing something that doesn't need to be changed to justify a version upgrade. Honestly I think they peaked with XP and 2003 and it's downhill from there on all fronts.
