Milwaukee's Best is affectionately called "Beast" here at UW: Madison. I challenge someone to find beers that are worse...

heh, i werk at a liqour store... we get some bad stuff

Stadium Lager (was discontinued by brewery... 6 pack of 16 oz cans was like $2.00)

Jacob's Best (made by Pabst Blue Ribbon... is kinda their *low end* beer... psh, then what's their high end?!)

Private Stock (no idea what's up w/ this crap... but the 6 packs are 16 oz bottles, and sell for around $4.00)

Schaefer's is pretty bad too

Beast Ice is worse than the plain beast... plan to sit on the toilet for quite a while the next day

Does malt liquor count? If it does, Country Club and St Ides have those two beat hands down. Nasty nasty stuff.

Well there is always Lone Star (and its light version) and i have once seen Generic Beer (White Can, with nothing but the nutrition contents and BEER on it {For those of you who have an HEB close by, check and see if they still sell it}).

I think Schlitz and Schmidt were some pretty nasty beers. Are they still being brewed? When I was in the military, MB was about $4.75 a case - it wasn't so bad after the 4th or 5th one - but the next day, you'd (or your intestines) would pay a major price.

I just have to say, one six pack of something good. Then a case of the cheapest crap you can find. After the six pack who cares.

I would have to say beast takes the cake in my book.

Ex.

Also called Special Export. I cannot remember who's low end beer Ex was when I was in college. I remember it being $8 a case. My friends and I bought a case a day for about 2 weeks, never ever bought it again.

Probably as bad as natty ice is king cobra. (.99 forties). We had a king cobra party once, buying about 8 cases of forties, but it was hard to get folks to come. :p

Natty ice was a staple in my house for the year we had it, but I never drank it. Lowest I usually went was regular natty, which I really dont think is that bad, especially after you are used to it.

I once saw "Beast NA" at a party.. I couldn't believe it. Schaffers is pretty bad.

However the worst in CNY would have to be Utica Club. I think it goes for $3.99 for a 12 pack. If you need to finance a huge party and your low on funds... go Utica Club... tastes like a$$ but it will get you drunk.:)

I've lived on both the East Coast and in Wisconsin. If you think Milwaukee's Best is bad, you're mistaken. Its actually a fairly decent cheapo beer. I could easily name 20-30 other brands that are worse.

The one really crapo beer I remember from my college/scrapping for pennies days was Genese Pale Ale (although any of the Genese brand beers could easily run for the bottom of the heap award).
