I was just curious whether there are any non-commercial ISP servers anywhere in the USA or Canada that allow you to dial in and gain TCP/IP Internet access. I'm not talking about cracked ISP accounts, I'm just talking about connecting directly to something else that has a route to the Internet backbone.
Is there a way to get onto the Internet without having to first connect to a regular ISP?

nope, having a "free public ISP" has a very high cost, thats why free internet providers went bankrupt, or no longer free.
Just connect to a private network that connects to an ISP.

Definitely. But i suppose i was thinking more of a rogue WAN server somewhere, not a LAN that i'd have to get permissions for.
Ok I guess it would be something akin to a privately held dial-up server set up on a LAN with hacked access to an ISP or to the internet backbone routers. Theoretically speaking, i'm sure something like this is possible, eh?
I read there are few small spots like this...like this one place in new york city I think it was that had free wireless in a small part of a park. Don't think it's very common though.

Then used my vaild access to the routers to kinda "borrow" a port. Nothing beats an uncapped stealth port on the router right out to the internet.
All the TCP/IP trash the internet can bring me as fast as the backbone can beam it to me.

I was thinking if i had a Cisco router and could somehow gain access to an internet backbone router, whether through a hacked network or even locally (i know i'm dreaming), then i could work at injecting my own unused privately made route into the BGP routing tables and have it propagated all over the internet, that way i could access the internet and the internet could access me. I bet this is happening, but because it's at so high a level and so rare, u never hear about it.

Dude, I never said this but.....
In reality, the internet backbone is fluid. Yeah man. No optical, no electrical. Its a substance similiar to Kool Aid. Thats why they use glass tubing. So, all you ned to do is get a syringe wih a 60/40 - Kool Aid / Garlic oil mix and you'll have a real close equivelant of the signalling fluid for the internet. Then get a hydroelectrical waveform machine. Its a converter to turn electrical signals into fluidic waveforms.
Hook your PC to the hydroelectric waveformer, then insert the syringe into a fiber line....
You'll be injecting right onto the Information Superhighway fast lane, bypassing all the traditional onramps...
This is all uber secret though, so I never said anything.....
