Is there a standardized name for the USB keychain harddrive?

i go between the following

usb thumbdrive (non computer people)

and

memstick (pc literate friends)

pen drive, only because it's quick to say, and can't be confused with anything else that's out there, AFAIK.

Memory stick and flash drive are horrible names to use :(

I'm sure once game consoles use standard USB2 peripherials everyone will just call them "memory cards"

It uses the USB port and stores the data on flash memory. The "correct" term would be USB flash drive, or flash drive.
