I don't think there's a whole lot you can do besides get a hair transplant or something like that.

My advice: cut it short. If your hair is thinning or balding, short hair looks infinitely better than long.

I know a fellow who hangs out sometimes at my bar. He's about 45 or so, maybe about 1/3 to 1/2 gray, but he has a thick, thick head of hair that he wears down past his shoulders.

He looks ridiculous.
 
Mayo. Before you go to bed, coat your hair in mayo and cover it with a shower cap. Rinse it out in the morning. In 3-6 months you'll see results.
 
It's genetics son.

Is your mom bald? Father? Uncles? Then the chance is you're going to be bald as well.

I get my hair from my dad's side. He has a full head of hair, and so does his brothers. My brother gets his hair from my mom's side. He's going bald, and my mom's brothers are all bald or balding.

Im not balding. Just thin hair
