That's for a lower GI, luckily Upper GIs consist of Endoscopies.

You have a rectal hemorage. We'll have to operate. "Melinda, grab me the scout-gerbil for anal insertion." Carbo, this won't hurt a bit.

just dont light a match as a beacon to the exit for that brave gerbil 😉

Is it re-occuring ? If so, did it just get to the point where it's unbearable.. i hope not.

i hope you don't have frozen shoulder.. my neighbor has it and it sucks.
i bought him this (when it was in my Gold box for about $20.00 shipped) infra-red cool massage thingies w/4 attachments from amazon.com, (it did help him.

AJ (not a doctor, jus a jobless bum 🙂 )

Gee, I had no idea there were so many medically knowledgeable individuals on ATOT. I'm humbled by the insight and concern. It seems many of you have taken your Hippocratic Oath quite seriously. Thank you for sharing. I'll be setting up a colonscopy tomorrow. We should be able to get a good view of what is wrong with my shoulder.

My official medical advice: Go see a doctor, in person. IMHO, trying to get medical advice online is a waste of time, especially at ATOT.

Plus, you need to be way more specific. Your shoulder hurts. Well, it could be a million things. More detail would be helpful here. I've seen people who say their shoulder hurts, and their shoulder is completely detached from the rest of their body. I've also seen people who say their shoulder hurts and it's a small bump from hitting the wall. What did you do? When did it start? Describe the pain? These are all ???'s that you need to think about before you go see the doc.

Also, just FYI, you really never need a specialist to diagnose most general medical probs. An outpatient doctor will do just fine. The orthopod is going to deal with stuff that is beyond the regular doctor. That means that he/she is probably going to order a lot more tests, imaging, etc., before they tell you whats wrong, even if it's just a simple problem. My roommate is an orthopod and he goes test happy on a regular basis. It's fun to watch him add $$$ to the hospital bill.

Anyway, in summary, go see a doctor, either you primary care MD, or the urgent care doctor. Doesn't sound like an ER thing.

Good luck.

MD.

Thanks, doc-to-be. The pain is actually from working out. The joint is inflamed and it pains me when I lift my arm overhead. I figure it's either acute tendinitis or bursitis.
Any exercises I should avoid? Or, better yet, any exercises you can recommend to strengthen my shoulder area to prevent this from happening again?

So, do you think this should pain had anything to do with your naked wife and the miscreants that tried to invade your daughter's room last night?

jus' checkin'
