RHCP - I like their old stuff but it's easy to hate anything past Stadium Arcadium...others will bring it back as far as Californication...still others will hate anything past BSSM

Not saying I agree, but I've heard all the arguments.

True, but I still love their earliest stuff.

There probably isn't a single band that nobody hates. I'll throw out a few greats but I'm positive that someone here hates at least one of them.

Pink Floyd
Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young
Neil Young (he deserves to be listed on his own)
The Eagles
Nirvana
Stone Temple Pilots
Foo Fighters
The Police
Jimi Hendrix

I love how the OPs example of a band nobody hates is probably the 3rd most hated behind Bieber and Nickleback. That, my friends, is how you flame bait.

Truth fact

I actually dislike both of these bands for the same reason... terrible vocals on top of amazing music. There are very few DT songs I thought actually worked with the vocals.
 
i never cared for weezer or beasty boys. i don't think its possible for everyone to like anything one thing in particular, espcially globally. someones always gonna hate.

I thought this until I went on a road trip and had the Pink Floyd channel on Sirius and was promptly told that they suck and to change it. Someone was bitch slapped following that scene.

Who could possibly hate the Beatles or Led Zeppelin?

Because the Beatles are boring, and compared to the size of their catalog they have few songs that are worth a shit.
 
Stevie Wonder. I have never heard anyone say they hate Stevie Wonder.
