What do you think? I came up with Weezer. IMO, doesn't matter what genre of music you like, Weezer always has catchy riffs and unique lyrics. Easy to sing a long to.

I couldn't imagine any hate for them.
 
I've known plenty of people who hate the shit out of Wheezer.

100% certain there is not one group that everyone likes.

live: They used to suffer from "Weezer" disease - sufferers of "Weezer" disease have a tendency to stand in one spot and play their instrument with no feeling. Generally speaking, a band with "Weezer" disease is like listening to a CD...with less sound quality. I hear it's gotten a little bit better with the addition of Josh Freese, but like chickenpox once you have "Weezer" disease it never really goes away.

I've seen Weezer 3-4 times and this has held true every single time.

lately: their music sucks. I mean seriously it just makes me want to cut myself.
I hate "Beverly Hills" so much I can't even begin to describe it.


I'll throw out Weird Al.

I agree with you on Weird Al, the man has longevity for sure...

Also, for someone who hates on Weezer, you've paid to see them 4 times?

I've paid to see them zero times. they come as a package deal (various music festivals)

I have never liked U2. If I had 2 broken legs and the radio was on the other side of the room, I would find a way to walk over and change the station.
 
I was never a fan of Weezer. My ex got us some tickets to go see their show last year in Austin, they are good live but I just can't get into their music.

And as long as people have opinions there will always be someone that hates any band.
 
Creed is pretty universally accepted as a good band that most people like; one of the last cds to go diamond, pretty much speaks for itself
