Is the NSA really spying on Tucker Carlson?

Soooo, Tucker Carlson claims that the NSA is spying on him. He alleges that a "whistleblower" within NSA approached him and told him NSA is reading his texts and e-mails, which, if true, is of course illegal. He says the whistleblower had information about an upcoming story which had not yet aired which could only have been known by reading his texts and e-mails. Says Tucker Carlson.

NSA has publicly denied the allegation.

Anyone else find it highly convenient that just weeks after a story breaks about how the Trump admin was spying on journalists, that we now have a story which, if true, would prove that Biden's NSA is doing the same? Yet there's just one catch.

We have to believe Tucker Carlson.

And it gets even more absurd. He has Kevin McCarthy on his show and convinces him that NSA needs to be investigated by Congress. So now McCarthy is calling for an investigation and - in case you were wondering how much of a clown show this will be - he's calling on Devin Nunes, their ranking member on the intel committee, to head up the investigation. Moo. Boy I feel so much safer now with Devin on the case.

Would not be the same as Tucker is not a journalists and as any reasonable viewer should apply an appropriate amount of skepticism (i.e. everything he says is bullshit) for any of his the statements.

I would shy away from that argument. NSA is not permitted to spy on American citizens without a court order, journalist or not.

Yeah, that's pretty much my point.

I had already posted this nugget in the Who needs the onion when reality and Tucker collide thread.

I guess they can thread merge, or leave it as is. Either way.
Just pointing it out. This gives it more attention. I used to like to write tight code, so I try to keep from starting new threads all the time and UTFSE, but hell, there is stuff disappearing from the front page in less than a day anymore.

To be honest, they probably should.

But the real question is, are they doing it through the microwave and is it Obama doing it? Is Obama the real head of NSA?

These are the important questions and no one is asking them.

Tucker somewhat routinely makes outrageous claims based on evidence he supposedly has or is soon to possess that turn out to be nothing and you never hear about it again.

All this serves to do is further separate the nuts who watch his show from actual reality in service of his victimhood complex. He's a wounded private school trust fund baby from La Jolla who thinks he never got a fair shake despite all his advantages and wants to punish everyone for it.

Yeah, that's pretty much my point.
I am agreeing with you. My point was that this is probably like everything from Tucker, compete BS.

He's probably buddies with a bunch of white nationalist terrorists so there is an outside chance he was part an investigation of a friend.

Yes.
NSA is spying on Tucker.
Or rather NSA is spying on the intelligence asset that Moron Tucker is communicating with.... and via THAT tap is on record and a person of interest.

I dont know if the above is true but common ... how fucking likely is it? Yea. Very.

I'd say somewhat is being generous. It's practically half his schtick.

I mean in the likely event it is not true.
Fucker seems perfectly fine with reports of the Previous President wanting to and spying on news people or even people who were “mean & unfair” to him.
I would assume Fucker would accept this.

Maybe the documents that prove the NSA is spying on him were stolen along with those documents he claimed to have that incriminate Hunter Biden.

I’m no Fucker fan, certainly it is possible. I wouldn’t be surprised if Russia is funneling Fucker stuff being the Useful Idiot Fucker is.

I want to be clear the above scenario is completely different than let’s spy on Fucker to find dirt on him.

It's weird that they refer to Carlson as an "anchor" when he's not on a news show. Presenter, maybe? Even that might be too weighty for a low-information rage-based entertainment show.
I just know, he would love to be known as a thought leader.

The King of All Karens grossly overestimates his importance in the world. Produced some much needed laughter at Ft Meade though I'll bet.

This is what talking head outrage vendors always do at some point; take the victim card and apply it to themselves personally.

So, just so everyone's clear: a theory of spying on a Fox sock puppet who defends insurrection and treason? Outrageous. Trump's DoJ/FBI actually spying on Democrats carrying out investigations and oversight? Meh.

Snowflake traitors gonna snowflake.
