I've been thinking about it. We started out debating evolution, and then climate change. Now these are complicated subjects on the surface but are still well researched and explained to where most people of average intelligence can understand the concepts.
But then we moved on to things like chemtrails and now anti vax movements. How stupid does one have to be to believe in this crap? Would these movements even exist without the internet? I wonder when we'll start debating on whether or not storks deliver babies.
And then there's the Sandy Hook conspiracy and the crisis actors. I seriously think that you'd have to be pretty far removed from reality in order to believe this crap.
But I see this in other things to like linkbait that just makes me cringe.... "This man barks like a chicken for 80 hours a day and the reason why will inspire you".
Or how often I try to sell something on eBay at a modest Buy it Now price and nobody buys it, so I put it up for auction and more often than not; the bidding exceeds the original Buy it Now price I was selling it for a week earlier.
Maybe Idiocracy was really a documentary.
