I guess some people who take life way to seriously might not find his witty sarcastic take on things funny. Oh well, some people are just boring I guess.

Most of the fake news reports fall flat for me. One in twenty or so is legitimately amusing. The rest are mildly entertaining at best.

The interviews are worth watching usually. As is the at-the-desk news.

Let's talk about sects. - funny comedy bit.

This is what SNL should be. Funny skits that are SHORT.

I just saw that snippet about the Iraqi elections, etc. Just kinda tasteless.

It's obviously black comedy-- it's such a horrible situation you can't help laugh. Example: The Onion's first edition after 9/11: the headline: "HOLY F#CKING SHIT!"

I don't usually watch it for its faux comedic politics, but rather for everything else it offers.

Really? I dont really see this. In fact he is usually playing himself down. "I come on after a show about puppets making prank phone calls"

I've found that the people astute enough to pick up on the clever jokes find it funny. The dimwits who can't detect that kind of humor find it boring or offensive.

It's amazing, but I have actually known people who cannot pick up on sarcasm. Even when I point out something blatantly obvious, they just don't see it. They'll take it at face value and cannot for the life of them pick out the underlying message.

Yeah those are probably the same people that actually think that Dennis Miller is still funny.

That's the whole problem right there. Some people cannot pick up on wit or sarcasm. I usually like to talk to them and throw in all kinds of sarcastic references that they can't see to amuse myself. Sick, I know.

I know it's sick. Sometimes I just can't help myself, and sometimes I do it for the irony.

It is funny, but yes, the Iraqi elections bit was a tad on the tasteless side.

My roomate watches it all the time and loves it. I, on the other hand, find it something that only stupid people would find funny. Shrug. To each his own.
