I don't know if you have a god or not...if you are acknowledging sin you'd have to though.
The main problem with man is that he tries to think of rules from his own point of view, which unfortunately is often different than what god (and the law for non-secular stuff) says.
The story of Jesus, whether you believe in him or not, states that he was not allowed an early out to his pain and torture even though it was to be the worse ever known to man.
Hell if a criminal plays his crying card well enough there is enough people that will come forward to say "he feels sorry for raping then burning alive those 10 or so children, lets just let him go and give him another chance."
I am running out of steam 🙁 but this thread brings up intersting things and should help people to think twice about suicide. Trust me, it's very sinful whether it is intentional or not.
