Consuming a diet high in added sugars, such as those found in sweetened beverages, candy, baked goods, and sugary cereals, is a contributing factor in weight gain and chronic health conditions, including obesity, heart disease, and diabetes. The ways in which added sugar intake leads to weight gain and increased body fat are complex and involve many factors.

I used to eat those things, even made my own sweet rolls for a few years, like the pros. I never buy those things. I will eat some if offered to me somewhere somehow, but that's uncommon. Of those things the only ones I indulge in NOW (i.e. buy) are the candies -- chocolate, but not too much. At the end of the day I can tell you what and how much I ate, if I eat any.
