Is Smirnoff a girly drink?

Yes, Smirnoff Ice is girly. Who cares though? I mix my Smirnoff Vodka with Goya coconut soda. It ends up being 3 shots in each glass though.

Ditto. I've never gotten any crap about drinking Smirnoff Ice either. Of course, people who don't know me well are apt to think that getting me to drink anything with alcohol in it is a major "victory" so they might just not want to say things to discourage me from drinking at all.

I think they are labeled girly drinks because they taste good? I doubt it has anything to do with alcohol content, because the percentage is higher on those then most beers.

I am a beer and whiskey drinker myself, I may have the odd premixed drink, but I can't drink very many, they get sickening after one

Something you need to learn early in your drinking career is that when at a party if you're a guy you will want to be seen with either beer or hardliqour. If that hardliqour is vodka it's risky mixing it with a fruit drink (OJ, gatorade, etc.). Preferably you'll be drinking rum and coke or rye and coke, etc. You can't go wrong with beer of course.

I like those girly drinks too and I don't care anymore, but when I was younger I could expect to get (and give) comments about a supposedly masculine guy sucking back a cooler with the girls.

Rum and Coce? Bleh!

That's definately not a guy's drink, not a chicks drink either for that matter, it's just plain nasty!
