Is Smirnoff a girly drink?

I can knock down shots of 151 but I still like a good daiquiri and will order them in public. My self-esteem is not fragile enough to be shattered by what other people think...especially what they think of my beverage choices.

Something you need to learn early in your drinking career is that when at a party if you're a guy you will want to be seen with either beer or hardliqour. If that hardliqour is vodka it's risky mixing it with a fruit drink (OJ, gatorade, etc.). Preferably you'll be drinking rum and coke or rye and coke, etc. You can't go wrong with beer of course.

I like those girly drinks too and I don't care anymore, but when I was younger I could expect to get (and give) comments about a supposedly masculine guy sucking back a cooler with the girls.

Yup. Certainly try to drink something brown like whiskey or tequila.

However, ask the average guy what is more manly: A beer or a cooler, and the answer will not be cooler. Ask the average guy what is more manly: shooting tequila or sipping on a smirnoff ice, and the answer will not be the smirnoff.

Assuming you care about manly vs. girly drinks you'd do well to avoid the girly ones and they ARE the coolers, smirnoff ice, etc.
