Is rolling up your sleeves an Asian thing?

I've been making a concerted attempt to mentally poll the nationality of anyone who has their sleeves rolled up.

The results show almost all Asians rolling up thee sleeves and I have only spotted 1 non-Asian individual with their sleeves rolled up.

This is an F500 company and I see hundreds of people every day.

Sleeves of what? Long sleeved dress shirts? I roll mine up to past my elbows since it's usually hotter than hell in our place of work.

wtf? It's sensible to roll up your sleeves in certain cases.

If I am wearing a dress shirt I roll my sleeves before eating.

If I am going out at night and it is hot but I want to wear something nice I roll up my sleeves.

I roll up my sleeves sometimes, and I'm not Asian.

Though, I'll admit that I do it because it makes me feel that I am more Asian.

:hmm:

I thought you old guys liked to hang out on or around your front lawn and look at the sky?

How does that make you any less of a garden gnome?

:hmm:

well it's 70' right now and all the Asians I've seen today (3 incl. myself) have rolled up sleeves and none of the non-Asians have.

I can't stand long sleeved shirts so whenever I am stuck wearing one the sleeves usually end up rolled up and I am not asian.

Nah...if I'm in my front yard, I'm standing guard...and since I bought one of these:

I don't need to physically be out there nearly as often...:p

I just have to figure out how to turn that into a motion-sensing .22 auto-fire.

Damned kids, anyway.

This dude looks crappy like that though. It's rolled past where it should be, it is bunched up like a ball and the whole shirt is baggy.

I think the shirt being too large for him is more of the problem than the rolled sleeves.

Whenever I'm stuck wearing long sleeves I roll them up. Sleeves shouldn't be rolled up past the elbow though.

Asians probably roll the sleeves up cause they're short and the sleeves are long on them so they have to roll them up to look normal.

I'm asian 5'10" height and 6'1" wingspan. If anything my sleeves are too short. Asians are the opposite of dwarfs when it comes to body composition so your claim falls short.

I'd say it's more of a shirt thing.

I don't really like powdered crackers, or bearings that aren't true.

Right now the thermometer in my office says it is 93 degrees. The outside temperature is 68 degrees.

My building either has the heat on or the AC on, and they only make the switch twice per year. They are still running the heater. Tomorrow will be brutal as it's supposed to be 80+ degrees outside. I might just come in to work in a thong.
