Is plasma still better than LCD?

If you want to buy now, in the $2500 price range, take a look
at the 58" V10 panny. One of my local stores was going to price
match the EPP panny price of $2200.

I have had some image retention (not to be confused with burn in), but I guess its pick your poison. It would be great to see that fixed, but there's little interest with the continuously growing LCD market.

I get absolutely no IR on either one of my plasmas. Samsungs have the worst IR, Panasonic are much better and its pretty much non existent on Pioneers.

Same here. I've never once (in 2 years) experienced IR on my Pioneer plasma.
