If you want to buy now, in the $2500 price range, take a look
at the 58" V10 panny. One of my local stores was going to price
match the EPP panny price of $2200.

I have had some image retention (not to be confused with burn in), but I guess its pick your poison. It would be great to see that fixed, but there's little interest with the continuously growing LCD market.

I get absolutely no IR on either one of my plasmas. :) Samsungs have the worst IR, Panasonic are much better and its pretty much non existent on Pioneers.

Same here. I've never once (in 2 years) experienced IR on my Pioneer plasma.
