Question: Are Pentium 4-M and Pentium 4 exchangeable for my laptop SONY VAIO PCG-GRZ530?
This is the deal.
I have a SONY PCG-GRZ530, which has a Pentium 4 SL6GS 2.4GHz inside. It is a very old one. For some reason, one pin of it is broken.
I checked the Page 4 of the service manual, which shows SONY PCG-GRZ530 comes with Intel 845MZ chipset. I checked Intel website and it shows Intel 845MZ supports Pentium 4-M.
Now the question becomes, is there anyone knowing if I can put a Pentium 4-M in the laptop to make it work?
Your any helpful comments are greatly appreciated!
BTW, both are Socket 478
