then what about the 7900 gt???

now it turns out that it's much faster than the x1800 xt when oced doesn't it?!

You can OC to beyond GTX speeds which would make it comparable to an X1900XTX

but my 1800xt runs at 700mhz/1.6ghz.. so then where does that leave the GT?

Just noting that you and Wreckage trying to smear each other really isn't necessary.

As they say, takes a troll to know a troll and I keep noticing you. ;)

So.......... are you saying that you notice that I'm a troll? Because you just said it takes one to know one. Can you say, "self ownage"?

You keep noticing me? Want a date or something? Seriously ronnn, your comment has no merit here. Why don't you place your comments where they are deserved as I just did. All this means is that you don't like me and carry grudges and will til you are dust and maybe beyond. This however, is something I will not lose any sleep over. I pretty much have reformed my ways, but apparently you haven't or can't.

That is an "ok" o/c, but kind of pales to the potential 80% o/c of the 7900GT. YMMV.
I've seen a few people that can only reach 650 core on the 7900GT on air. So like everything else, results will vary greatly. I mean, how does your X1800XT @ 700/1600 compare to a 7900GTX? or X1900XTX?

you miss my point entirely.. the point was the "what ifs" can go on indefinately...

and an x1800 broke 1ghz iirc (far from a std or easy overclock to be sure)

and just how many are running GT's @ 800mhz? cool if ya can, but it's not a simple overclock (custom air cool, hard volt mod, etc.), and while it wouldn't surprise me to see some hit over 600, i wouldn't hold my breath waiting for all those to hit even 700+...

again, more "what ifs"...

If nobody ever asked the question, "what if", We would still be in the stone age. "What if's" are very, very important. Some are stupid, others are not quite so stupid, and some are purely inspirational. Got to take the good ones with the bad ones I suppose.

Yes I notice your paddle in most piles of manure and certainly I don't mind owing myself. A laugh is a laugh. :D

Well, that's a relief. As long as you don't mind.
