Nebraska obviously didn't instill humility in their lineman, which doesn't surprise me.

This guy has enough talent to just walk on the field and perform, unfortunately he isn't one of those athletes who views this gift as a blessing and treat it with respect.

I think he's headed down an unwise path.

I think there are much dirtier players (see Robinson, Dunta).

I don't think I can call the stomping play a "dirty" play... it was just so blatant and so... unplanned. Dirty to me feels like something you try to get away with and you choose to do. Like eye gouging at the bottom of the pile. Or maybe aiming high or for the head in a tackle, or diving at a QB's knees to break his legs.

Not that Suh didn't choose to stomp the guy, but it felt more like he just has anger and rage issues.

I sort of see what you mean. It's easy to scapegoat the guy who makes no effort to hide or control his temper. And for every incident we see, there are probably at least ten that we don't see. Some players might do a better job of hiding it than others. I'd still consider Suh to be a dirty player, but he's a different kind of dirty than James Harrison (who has, on a few occasions, intentionally tried to injure other players beyond what was necessary to succeed as a defensive player).

Lyle Alzado, God rest his soul, was a dirty player. Indeed, he revelled in being one.

Suh is no Alzado, but he's working quickly to become so.

I didn't know this was still debated, thought it was pretty obvious at this point.

I remember when Missouri went into Lincoln to play and Chase Daniel (Mizzou's qb) claimed that Suh spit on him before the game. Everyone was talking about how virtuous and classy Suh was, saying Daniel made it up, that he was a liar, Suh would never do something like that, on and on and on..

I believe Chase.

Shit whatever. Did we see these problems when he wore a Huskers jersey? Nope.

Guess it shows just how tight of a ship the Huskers program really is.

I thought some other helmet-rips he's done were dirtier than the stomp (Delhomme and Dalton)

He was trying to decapitate those guys. So fucking dirty.
