By the way guys, my OC at 4Ghz was stable on 1.25v (12 hours P95 stable), and it never crashed, I just figured 12 hours was enough.

4.2Ghz seems feasible :D

thats because your missing 2 cores..

did u find them yet?

Because you only have 2 cores active, and 2 more with HT.

:\

Check the screenshots I posted, I got that worked out.

4 cores, 8 threads (now 4 because I disabled HT), and 12 hours P95 stable at 4Ghz on only 1.25v. Werd.

You say you have it set at 1.25v, but CPUZ shows 1.304v. I don't think it should be that far off.

Also, on my P6T Deluxe V2, with turbo on I get a 21 multi. Or is it when I put the multi on auto? Anyway, somehow I am getting 21 multi.

21x190 and CPUZ shows 1.264v under load

Yeah, I'm not sure about that, in BIOS everything is set manually, and turbo is turned off. Speaking of turbo, I'm pretty sure that's how you're getting a 21 multiplier.

Bringing this picture back up again to show that CPUz still has issues. Note a x22 multiplier on a 920. Check ALL your settings in bios, and have confidence from your math.

the i7 voltage requirements in my experience go up substantially from 3.8-4.2ghz depending on the chip ive had one that i could do 1.268 and get 4.1 but when i tried for 4.2 i need 1.35. and two others that i could get to 3.8 on stock but need 1.325 for 4.0 and 1.375 for 4.2
