Is Matrox dead now?

Dunno about measurements, but my G450 looks a bit sharper at 1600x1200 than my radeon7500. Both are way above any Nvidia's card I have seen 😉

No their not, same thing for us and europe.
And this test is in no way valid for comparing Matrox 2d quality to others because matrox isnt even in this test.

I wouldn't say that's necessarily true. The latest ATI cards are very nice. I prefer the flexibility of Matrox's drivers though. More usable settings than ATI (although my ATI drivers are ultra stable even if they aren't as flexible). Can't say the same about nVidia though - too much variability in image quality, since they don't make their own cards.
