I do however, get very tired all the comments like that that come flying out whenever a celebrity is discussed. Again, when discussing a celebrities success they're measured against their peers. People who do the same thing they do. This should be fairly self explanatory I would think. When measured against the likes of Britney and such she's already not even in the same ballpark and will most certainly be vapor in a couple years. I'm sorry if this hurts your feelings but it's just the truth.

About Britney vs. Jessica Simpson... their styles are incredibly different, not to mention their music. A couple years ? More like 10 when they grow old while younger ones surface.

if she's acting dumber than she is, why is that so bad? she's making a VERY GOOD living and I'd say she hasn't done anything that compromises her morals. (compare that to Britney who has pushed the sexual envelope with every music video she does).

if she's just "that dumb", then she's still making a VERY GOOD living just being herself.

in either case, i'd say she's doing just fine.

Also, don't think that just because you would like her life we all would. I'm perfectly happy with my life for the most part. Sure, I'd love the have the money she does (who among us wouldn't) but there are plenty of aspects of being in the public eye that I'm sure are less than enjoyable.

If you're asking would I embarrass myself for money I can't really answer that. While I'm certainly not as wealthy as she is I do make a decent living so I wouldn't just throw myself after the money. I also have a strange aversion to shaming myself before a national audience. However, despite what I'm saying now I can't say for sure what I'd do in that position. So, my answer is that I can't really tell you. Wish I could give you a better answer but having never been in that position I can't.
