I met her at a "meet and greet" before her performance on the TRL tour a couple years ago (my brother works for a radio station.)
Stupid as they can get, with a bad attitude to boot.
Why? Because the one day YOU meet her she's got a bad attitude? Ever consider she might have been having a bad day? I'm tired of all these people whinning that celebrities are wankers because they aren't sweet as sugar everytime some spotty kid asks for their autograph.
A) A meet and greet is on the artist's terms ALONE. It could qualify as chilling out for a beer, simpyl shaking their hand, getting a photo or getting autographs... whatever. You don't ask for autographs, they either give them out, or they don't. A meet and greet is not just random fans, it is exclusively the people putting on the show... the execs at the venue and the promotions for the station promoting it, usually. Never really more than 20-25 people.
B) This wasn't a "bad day" bad attitude. She whined that she didn't want to smile for the picture because she didn't feel like it. Then she complained that she doesn't like doing meet and greets in a really snotty manner... in front of everyone there. Flat out rude.
C) I don't care if you are having a bad day or not, when you are a celebrity and getting paid millions, you are expected to have a good day whenever you are in public.... let alone on your own F'ing concert. She probably bagged around quarter to a half a million from that one show. When you are making that kind of money.. being friendly is part of the job.
Now, if I had run into her in public, while she was trying to do whatever it is she wants to do and she didn't even say hello, that's a totally different story.
Thanks.
