I was re-organizing them and I decided to weight them............... they weight ~316 pounds (~144kg) :D

Do you think it's crazy to scan 600+ mags? I won't be scanning every page but all pages with articles on them so for example a 70 page mag will have 45-50 pages that have articles or pictures on them.

I guess I will find out how tough my Canon Scanner is :)
